Bought 1.5 x 2metre. Basic rubber flooring of roll, or roll ends. Excellent quality. Bought for use under gym equipment it's cheaper and more robust than gym machine mats.Outside plastic wrapping quite dirty. Removed carefully not to spread. One side of sheet has a plastic film attached. Uncovered side was spotless clean, wiped with a clean dry rag no dirt came off. Removed plastic film from other side and first 12 inch of sheet at exposed end when rolled was very dirty and wet has was attached plastic film. Had to give this part a good wash with soapy water. Rest of length was spotless again. This could be caused by condensation or water ingress at roll end. It was certainly there before courier transit. You can smell the rubber when unwrapped but it disappears quickly. Outside bag smelled inside suspect cause was the wet end. Pics show dirty outside wrapper. Wet dirty end and cloth used to clean end.

Ordered this as my large puppy was racing to and from the garden, skidding on the karndean flooring and knocking everything - including her water - flying. Whilst entertaining, was concerned she'd hurt herself. Got this - arrived really quickly, is a good, thick, solid mat (1.5m x 2.5m) and does the trick beautifully. No more skidding; less chance of her hurting herself and she can run at full pelt without her paws going in opposite directions (think of a massive Bambi) and stop on the mat. I think the price isn't bad: it will last forever and once she's grown out of being a non-stop, fluffy freight-train of a beast, I can use it elsewhere. Very, very pleased with it and would absolutely recommend.

So the roll itself is good and one side has a protective rapper on however the side that doesn't is caked in dirt or ash and it stinks of smoke so use them wrapper side down and clean the dirty side once down to help or were ever you place these is going to have a strong smoke smell and turn anything you place on it gray

Easy to put down.I stuck it with adhesive, but you can pull it up and it won’t rip.Looks good on the floor.Had a rubber smell for a few days but that goes.Easy to clean or hoover.Decent price.

This thankfully was only a small piece as the smell is almost ovepowering and a bit of a worry with my COPD.Hopefully that will dissipate with time as it is perfect for the job of protecting the home office carpet from being trashed by the wheels of the chair, but many say it doesn't, you have been warned.

I used this rubber flooring to cover the wooden floor in a shower room. I've laid it down where you step out of the shower, stuck it down with adhesive and it looks like an expensive vinyl floor covering.Perfect for the job, being waterproof etc. Easy clean and stops any water dripping off the open shower door, down on the wooden floor boards, going down to the ceiling below.

Ideal matting material for the car boot although the rubber smell lasts for some time
