Really helpful, great ideas
Nice map, folded smaller than the free ones you pick up there, so it's easier to use. We had no itinerary and used a couple of the suggested walks for the areas, which were well described.

Great pocket size book
Personally really enjoyed this. Small enough to carry in the bag and it comes with a hand map and an insider tip.

Use public transport which is very reasonable.
Neat little book that fits in a pocket. Plenty of information to explore all of the area. Only gave 4 stars as no metro or railway map. We found public transport was a must having visited the Viking Museum on the coast and travelling back to airport. Trains were very reasonable considering a taxi fare is nearly £50 one way. Considering the distance a rip of.

Travel book
Good informative range of travel books. Worth reading ahead of trip - seems to cover everything you need for a city break. Good specific food, travel and cost information.

No metro map
Says easiest way to get around is metro. But no metro map and places to visit dont have nearest metro station listed

I used this guide this past week during my four day stay in Copenhagen and found it to be really great. I like the way it is organized with different areas, proposed sights and walks in each area. I used it along with the proposed insights provided under “Four Perfect Days”. For me who do not have a ton of time to research everything about the place o a, visiting I found this did most of the hard work. Also, in addition to providing the main attractions it suggests alternatives that I also found very useful.

We wanted a complete guide to the city. Anyone who is familiar with Lonely Planet knows they do a first rate job with their publications. This guide covers exactly what we needed in spades and we'll be using it again when returning to enjoy this wonderful city.

This is indeed a "pocket" sized guide to Copenhagen, but don't let the size fool you - it has a ton of good tips and information. We're traveling with kids and found it to be particularly helpful in trying to plan family-friendly activities in Copenhagen and the area.

I recently went to Copenhagen for six days and this was such an amazing resource for me. Thank you so much.
