Fantastic pans with comfortable handles.
I have had this set of pans for just over a week, and am not looking back! My previous set of stainless, which was purchased while owning an electric stove with coil burners, has now been placed in a box, and will live in the basement until I can figure out if there is anything that I am short on. I currently cook on a high powered gas range, and these pans are much more responsive than the old stainless, and way more responsive than any of my cast iron collection. Don't get me wrong, the cast iron, both enameled and 'seasoned', shall remain, but the USA Pans are what I now reach for. Speed of heating, ease of cooking and cleanup have made these my 'go to' cookware. Here is a little story about my first evening of trying to cook a 2 inch pork chop I wanted to sear on the top of the stove, and finish in the oven. My neighbor, who cooks well, suggested that the heat really needed to be much higher for the searing. (I had never used an aluminum core pan for cooking meat...only a grill or an oven.) Silly me, I listened to him. This pan does NOT need medium high heat, at least from my burners! While I was not smart enough to listen to my own intuition on the searing, I was smart enough to reduce the time in the oven. The chop was fantastic, but the pan needed a lot of elbow grease to get the burned on fat from the sides of the chef's skillet. Lesson learned, and the pan is not worse for the wear (thank you Bar Keepers Friend). The pan took my overheating like a champ, and looks like it did when it came out of the box, and I now have a valuable lesson learned...LOWER the HEAT! These pots and pans are well worth the price. Update: Well, I have had these pans for over a year now, and could not be happier. My only hope is that they expand their line to include a 10 or 11 inch saute pan that would have a 3 inch depth and a 'helper' handle. They cook well, are forgiving, easy to clean, do not warp, and still look like new. Highly recommend!

Love this pot!!
I ordered the USA Pans 8-Quart Stainless Steel Stock Pot with 10-Inch Lid Cover because I was in search of a quality pot to use to make my tomato sauce and meatballs. Specifically, I wanted to replace my previous pot for something a little larger, and that would cook a little more evenly. I am pleased to say that I made the right choice in purchasing this product. I was more than impressed when I received the USA Pans 8-Quart Stainless Steel Stock Pot in the mail. First, I love the fact that Healthy Home and Kitchen (the seller from whom I purchased) sold this via Amazon Prime. It was delivered to my door two days after I ordered it, which made me happy. It was packaged nicely, without any damage or excess material. Secondly, it is a beautiful pot. Things like this don’t usually excite me, but the stainless steel is, in fact, stainless. It was shiny, and unmarred by any blemishes. I love the fact that the pot comes with cleaning instructions, so I can keep it looking so pretty. (By the way, I had no idea that you should only add salt to pasta water once it’s boiling in order to avoid white spots!) Despite the fact that this pot is obviously a high-quality product, it is lightweight (which is helpful when carrying a full pot of boiling water to the sink). Using the pot for my tomato sauce and meatballs worked out beautifully. It turned out well, and the sauce didn’t bubble out of the pot and onto my stove, which is why I wanted a new pot in the first place. The sauce didn’t burn to the bottom as much as it did in the pot I had before, either. So far, I have also used the pot to cook pasta, soup, and corn on the cob, and it worked just as well for each of those dishes. Cleaning up was very easy. Anything that does wind up being burnt onto the bottom of the pot comes off very easily after just a short soak. All that is needed is a regular sponge to wipe the debris away. Perhaps the best part of cleaning this pot is that it can go into the dishwasher (and comes out as good as new)! My other, quite expensive Calphalon pot can’t do that, as it’s hand wash only! My one wish is that they could figure out a way to prevent the handles from getting hot while cooking. It’s just an inconvenience (an minor one) to always need a potholder to remove the pot from the stove. Somehow, I always wind up forgetting this step and burning my hands. Despite this one complaint, the USA Pans 8-Quart Stainless Steel Stock Pot has found it’s way into my regular cooking repertoire, and is quickly becoming my go-to pot. It fits all of my needs (especially the easy clean up part!), and therefore, I feel it’s well worth the money I spent on it.

THIS PAN ROCKS!!!!!!
Let me start off by saying that I am not a world class chef and I don't usually spend a lot of time learning to cook. However it is a passion I am starving to sink my teeth into. I love to cook meats and vegies and often times end up doing them at the same time. I usually grill as much as possible except when the weather is awful, then I like to come in and use my mediocre pots and pans I picked up at bed bath and beyond. Well I think I will be cooking indoors from now on as I have recently picked up this pan and discovered how easy it is and sturdy it is compared to the other pans I own. I was a believer in non-stick black coating, but after a little while that coating comes off and the pan looks ridiculous. Well I must say I have cooked some mighty delicious meals in my time and had to let the pots soak so I could get all the nastiness off. Well not any more. This stainless pot has opened new doors, EG new foods that I can cook and new recipes to try because all I have to do is throw this bad boy in the dishwasher when I'm done and not worry about soaking or scrubbing. That alone is what has sold me on it. When I ordered this pan I assumed like all my other AMAZON orders that it would take a few days to process and a few days shipping. So you can imagine my surprise when the same day that I placed my order I got the email advising me my product had shipped along with a tracking number. 3 days later I opened the most protective packaging I have ever seen and took out my new shinny pan. I right away decided I would cook some shrimp for dinner and got to work. I placed butter in the pan and placed it on my electric top stove. The butter melted very quickly and did not burn, then I added a little lemon juice, some white wine and began to steam my shrimp. They came out fantastic. I left the pan on the stove top and left it. I came back to a greasy mess. So I put the pan whole right into the dishwasher and let it run. When it was done out came a sparkling clean pan, like I had never used it. I then decided the next night to cook some steak with soy sauce and Worchester sauce. I had some stainless steel pots in the past that stained, and never went back to normal. So I was a little skeptical about trying it again, But when the meal was over I put the pan in the dishwasher, ran it with a ton of other stuff and wouldn't you know it came out perfectly. My experience with this pan, and with the company as a whole has been amazing. I recently moved into my house and as most people do I was frugal while buying utensils and cooking devices. Recently we had started to transition our kitchen from Walmart worthy crap, to high end royalty items. With all my shopping done on amazon it's nice to have a company that provides outstanding products at good prices!

American Made, 5 Play, Stainless Steel Cookware AWESOMENESS!!
My wife wanted to replace her 20 year old Caphlon cookware that was shedding its skin. So started looking for cookware. We chose the USA Pans cookware for several reasons. 1. It is made in Kansas USA, our home state. 2. It is 5 ply. 3. The price was competitive with the other manufacturers and with the Christmas discounts on Amazon, it was hard to pass up. 4. Dishwasher safe. 5. Waterless cooking...who knew that was even a thing? 6. Ability to bake in the oven. 7. Lifetime warranty from one of the most renowned kitchen suppliers in the country. We purchased the 8 piece set and backfilled all of the USA Pans cookware pieces that were not included in the set, the 13 Inch big skillet, the 7 inch sauce pan and the 3 quart soup pot. The good news is that my wife and son LOVE IT. The bad news, in cast iron big skillet and egg skillets have been banished to basement shelf to collect dust. (DO NOT FRET my cast iron beauties, someday you will find a home in my man cave kitchenette!) Stainless steel cookware takes a little getting used to. we are still adjusting to not being able to see our food cooking through the stainless steel lids. When will we invent transparent stainless steel anyway? The dishwasher does get it clean but stainless steel can pick up some color that is easily cleaned using the appropriate stainless steel care products. The all stainless steel handles can get warm. The rewards of owning cookware that we can pass down to our grandchildren someday is priceless. Besides, my parents Stainless steel cookware has already been claimed by my sister's daughters. BUY IT, LEARN TO COOK WITH IT, LEARN TO HOW TO CARE FOR IT, AND ENJOY IT FOR A LIFETIME!

Fantastic! Beautiful, easy to clean and made in the USA!
I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but in this case I decided to write the review because this is such a great pot. Imagine - pots that are made right here in the USA! This is a small pot, only 7 inches, just the right size for me to make my single serving of hot cereal in the morning and cook vegetables with my dinner. I LOVE this little pot! It cooks evenly and quickly, and is a snap to clean. In fact, I don't even have to put it in the dishwasher. Just soak it for a few minutes with dishwashing liquid and gently clean with a Dobie pad, and the surface will remain shiny. The pots are esthetically beautiful, too - nice to display on a counter. I bought a slightly larger pot from USA Pan pot which was 8 inches, and I was originally planning to return it because the size was not what I wanted. But after using the smaller pot I decided to keep the larger pot also, and I may buy the entire set. I highly recommend USA Pan cookware.

excellent quality for the price
It's a pleasure to buy local. This all USA manufactured 8 piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set is very good quality, especially for the price. We just moved to Mission, Kansas, and wanted to buy a Stainless Steel Cookware Set. After comparing the offerings, we opted to buy local. We love this set of cookware. It cleans up easily. I would give it a five star because it compares to more expensive All-Clad sets. The only disappointment is the pieces, although all nice and functional, do not fulfill all our needs. Instead of two stockpots, we would have preferred another saucepan with lid a bit deeper and larger. Also, our stainless steel universal steamer doesn't fit on the smalerl stockpot, shich is a bit too large, so we have to use the small saucepan that doesn't have that much capacity. While steaming vegetables the other night, all of the water evaporated, and the skiller burned. We had a few stainless skillets to fill in when this sets larger ones aren't needed for breakfast for two although they're perfect for larger groups, for example, Sunday bruch with family and/or friends. All in all this was a terrific buy, I would have loved to have given USA Pan a 4 and 3/4 star review. luckily, I already had a few stainless steel skillets, and two stainless steel inserts, one a steamer and the other a double boiler/bain-marie that round out this cookware set.

Really impressive quality and value
I recently purchased the 13 inch skillet and have been using it on a regular basis for about the past month. I will say that it took a little time to get used to cooking with this pan as I have always used teflon type non-stick. However, after I got used to pre-heating the pan and then pre-heating the oil I'm going to cook with I will say the results have been truly impressive. When used correctly food cooks very evenly and definitely turns out better than it ever did with my old pan. The heat required is much lower and I find clean up to be a non-event. In most cases I allow the pan to soak over night in water and then in the morning the pan cleans ups with just a sponge. I haven't used any polisher yet on the pan and there are a few slight scratches and slight discoloration, but it doesn't bother me in the least and considering how much we use the pan it is wearing extremely well. We are sold on stainless steel cookware and I am really impressed with the quality of USA Pan for the price. This isn't the most inexpensive cookware out there but I think the value is incredibly high. I plan to invest in the the 8-piece set in the future. I definitely recommend this cookware.

Beautiful and heirloom quality
Got the 3 quart one: - Just the right weight and thickness - Cover is heavy too, and shape allows slow cooking if you add a bit of water at the rim(see pic of product). - Looks and feels great quality - Heat distribution is great for its all clad body - Handles can get hot but have decent amount of metal on them, so feel strong - Haven't baked so can't tell about warping etc. Cons: I wish it had laser marked measure scales in quart and SI units, like some of the German cookware do.
