The plot was not substantial enough to justify the length. Lincoln reasons to stay away for 15 years without an explanation were frivolous and the whole internal conversations by the main characters instead of just talking to each other would have made the story shorter but sweeter

I can't say this is worthy of reading...Don't know why would someone write something like that. Romanticism of forced relationship and manupulation
