I’ve been using these retainer cleaning tablets for 5–6 years and use them daily. I’ve attached photo—my orthodontic retainer has been used for over two years and still looks very clean. I soak it for 3–5 minutes and gently brush with a toothbrush. I’ve tried more expensive brands, but didn’t notice much difference in cleaning power. This is the most affordable option I’ve found and works great for daily use.

alright, alright... so i've been using this product for like... 4-5 months now? (yes, u have enough for that long) I figured I'd write a review for it. so, first thing's first. this stuff's great! i quite like the process of cleaning, so the UV ray stuff isn't exactly something i'm keen on. the tablets are super easy to use and doesn't require much effort. tools i used: 6oz bowl, philip sonicare, the tablet itself.... and uh, time? photo A is the before. now, it is very important to note that I have not cleaned this retainer in 3 days. at all. besides a quick rinse. yes, i feel yucky. yes, you are SO welcome. photo B is the after WITHOUT BRUSHING. look, u can get away with not brushing it and just rinsing it in this stuff for about 4 days. after that, please god..... brush it. the gunk builds up and without ample and proper cleaning, ure signing urself up for failure and it will NOT be this product's fault. photo C is the after pic WITH BRUSHING. i fill the retainer with the effervent liquid after letting it sit for 3min and run through the inside and out with my electric toothbrush. i usually do 30-40 seconds of this. the weird plaque looking things on the retainer is just scuffed plastic, by the way. but do we see how clean it is? ugh... astounding. 10/10.

I never thought I'd be buying denture cleaner, but two years ago, I had braces to resolve a bite issue that had been bothering me for years. Since I got the braces off, I've had to wear a retainer every night. I purchased a dental pod, which works great most of the time. I don't know if it's changes in the city water or what, but sometimes my retainer looks yellow. I tried hydrogen peroxide, and it helped a little, but these tablets clear it up in a day. I have noticed that they say to use it in WARM water, and when I get lazy and use them in cold water, they don't work as well. I only use them once a month or so, and my retainer is just like new.

Great price! My teenagers use these regularly for their retainer cleaner. And I utilize them to clean out reusable water bottles.

Definitely not as effective as other tablets like Polident or Pearlie white. My retainers still had some lingering foul smell with it, which other brands could eliminate. i tested this a few times to be sure.
