Right for the purpose although delicate
This dental tool is delicate so be careful not to use too much force in order not to break it. So far I think it's worth it to me in terms of value. I already had the flossers that fit into this handle and the fit is right. The size of the handle is appropriate, neither too small nor too large for the purpose. I think it's easier to use than regular floss which I do both.

Terrible! The quality of this gone out the window
Just like so many of the other reviewers, I found that GUM has changed the design and materials this handle is made with and it's extremely annoying to try to use, it now has a flimsy piece of plastic that snaps shut but doesn't stay shut so the brush falls out. You have to keep your fingers pinching it closed just in attempt to go between your teeth. So this means your fingers are in your mouth as you try to reach back teeth. Awful! The old design was great and lasted years. Just because it's GUM brand, don't feel confident in this piece of junk. I have a bunch of brush refills for this with nothing to use them with anymore! Beware!!!! Waste of money. Shame on GUM!!!!

Does what it’s supposed to.
Works well. Does what it’s supposed to with the right inserts (purchased separately).

watch the brush release
There is a small design flaw in that the mechanism used to release the Interdental Brushes lies exactly where one needs to put a finger in order to push the brush all the way between the teeth. More than once, I've accidentally opened to release. I've gotten used to holding it lower, and I think I still cleans as well as the design that requires lifting the release vs. pushing on it. But can't really be sure. A nuisance from time to time when the top opens instead of pushing the brush between teeth.

Long handle is better
These long handles for the replaceable brushes work better for me than the disposable ones with the short handles. For some reason, none of the stores near me still sell these, even though they stock the brushes. I was glad to find this handle after lost mine on a recent trip.
