I bought these for an art project and even though I used pliers to close the ends, it was very hard to do. The material is very hard to manipulate.

We had gotten some mini s hooks that were .55 inches and they were too small for the birthday calendar board we were making. These were the correct size to go through the "chips" where you write down the name and date of birth that hang on it. I recommend this size for that project.

These are better than the s-hooks I've bought at the big box stores, and you get about 15-20x more for the same price - literally. (You also don't get a case with the big box version.). I use these for hanging everything from rope to camping gear (small, obviously) in my garage, as well as random home projects, etc. Really great quality and excellent price.

Soooo many ways to use them. Nice to have around the house.

Great hook and the box to keep them in was a nice addition. Used these hooks on a windchime to join the chain to the steel of the wind chime and it worked well. Was able to hold the windchime at just over 2 pounds with out a problem.

Easy to use. Look fairly sturdy. Don't want to try heavy objects. But great for light objects.
