SO. If you can charge it 4 hours a day from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM it will take 25hrs / 4 = 6+ days to recharge to full capacity from dead. Probably about right if exposed to sunlight all day long, as if hang from backpack, it will not face sun directly for optimum charging, and if hiking won't always be facing the sun, and you might be walking under trees. However, it beats no solar charging. Bottom line is if you are a device junky and just have to be connected to big tech around-the-clock in the big city while allegedly enjoying the outdoors it might not meet be your cup of tea.

Will it run a small 5v usb fan

We bought a couple of dpolar f621 5v fans and it ran them awesome during outage from hurricane. Fans are awesome too for 10 bucks a pair lol

How does this changer perform in colder temperatures?
