What a great deal
Looks like a good deal, hope I never need it but if I do I am sure it has what I can use.

Great little kit!
I bought one for my son last year. The tools and items are Soriano sturdy. He LOVES it. Takes it hiking and camping. My husband loves it too so the outdoor people love it. I ordered this second one for my nephew for Christmas this year. It's s great kit that is very useful when the kids are out hiking, camping, fishing or just out playing in the woods. The first one we have had for a year and everything is still great. Nothing has broken or malfunctioned.

Needs bigger bag
I need to update my review. Originally, I was upset because rather than using a bigger bag were you could open it and get what you want. They cramped everything into this small bag. So you pretty much have to dump it to find anything. But, with that being said, it is packed full of high quality items. Everything is very heavy any well made. I would highly recommend this . However, I would suggest purchasing a larger carrying case for it.

Affordable starting point. Blades need work.
It’s a good price point as a place to start. It’s better than nothing in an emergency situation and I will add in and swap in better quality items as time goes on. I bought this and another kit to make a more thorough car survival kit and to go first air kit. All in all it’s worth the $25 or so for everything you get crammed into one bag as a disaster prepping beginner. The container molle pouch is well made and has lots of pockets (see pics) and the stuff inside is decent, but cheap. The knife is really light and the nylon handle is too light compared to the blade in my opinion, but after a bit of sharpening it should be an okay utility knife. Similarly the axe could use better sharpening and the paint covers what should be the sharp part of the wire cutters. Any blade in here needs a little love to work better. The pouch for the shovel is really thin and already cut, but I’ll patch that. It works well enough because there’s not a not a ton of reasons to use a little shovel or pick axe.The whistles work, but I’m not sure how far they’d carry and it’s nice that there’s some paracord and nylon string for different things. The carabiner is nothing great, but nice that it’s locking. I really like the lantern. It’s fine that it needs batteries, because I keep a ton of rechargeable ones.

Survival kit
i if you’re looking for a backpacking survival kit order you another backpack because this one is smile when it first came in I almost just turned around and say that but I opened it and man it is packed full of survival gear to be so small they got it loaded so my only advice is to get a bigger backpack to put your survivor kit in

Fits/hangs perfect on the back of the seats we have!
We put a couple of extra sets of gloves in it, a couple of tourniquets, and have it ready for use any time even tho we hope to never need it! Having a firefighter and a 911 dispatcher going on family trips with three boys, we always prepare for the worst.

Great little kit
Purchased for my son. I’m not sure I’d rely on this kit as an adult for survival because I’d want higher quality but it does have some pretty cool things that could help and anything is better than nothing. The quality is good for the price. My (kid)son loves it .
