This was a gift to an 8 year old who is into solving cubes. He absolutely loves it. It turns and is easy to maneuver. It's just the right size, large enough to impress, and small enough to still be able to turn with his hands. The picture on this listing shows the size much larger than it is. I would estimate it to be around 8" length, width, depth.

I just got this in the mail today.Like others have mentioned, the picture is a little deceiving. In reality, it's about the size of a volleyball.Each cube is just a little larger than a standard 3 x 3 cube. It's not magnetic, but that's okay.It's hard to solve solely due to it's size. My best time with a standard cube is about 80 seconds. This cube is so big that it won't allow you to use the same muscle memory that you would use when manipulating a regular size cube with your fingers.If you like solving the regular size cube, this cube will really make you think about the patterns because you'll be using your whole upper body to solve this. It's literally gross motor skills vs. fine motor skills.I cannot comment on the durability of this, but I'm sure it will last a long time if properly taken care of.It's also a great show piece and the sheer size of it makes it instantly obnoxiously funny...and I'm a grumpy old dude and I've seen it all. Nothing is really funny to me anymore, but this thing is hilariously big.I bought one for myself because I really wanted to try it out first, and another as a gift for a friend. I'm sure he and his kids will love it. It's just so oversized and ridiculous.Highly recommended!

Not as big as I thought it would be. Still a good size. Big enough to impress my 8yr old. Good quality and appears sturdy. Easy to turn and fun to use. Would recommend.

Got this for my nephew who is an avid cube competitor. The picture is a bit misleading, the cube isn't as big as you think, so was a little disappointed, but still a good size for a cube.

My kids love playing with this cube. They liked how it's called a magic cube; they think it has magical powers. ;) My husband is big on solving Rubics Cubes and this one was a little frustrating for him. It's too big to easily manipulate the moves, although he was able to solve it. For those purchasing to use for solving, know that you aren't going to be setting any speed records on this one, but if you're just looking for a fun novelty, go for it!
