32pcs Guitar Picks Grips, Large Silicone Soft Grips with 3 Guitar Picks, Resuable Anti slip and Self-Adhesive, Help You Holding the Guitar Pick Tightly

I have arthritis in both thumbs and holding a pick is a struggle. I decided to try these hoping the silicon would give me grip and darned if they don’t work great. I trim them to fit a triangular beveled pick and use them as designed on guitar picks. They work! You can see how I trim them so I can use all three corners of the triangular pick. Each corner has a different bevel so you need all three. Maybe one designed specifically for these picks would be nice but this works for me

For years, I’ve fought with picks slipping out of my grip. At one time I started using Dava control picks because I could get a good grip on them. But ultimately they were hindering my improvement. So I ordered some variety packs of picks to determine which thickness and variety I preferred. Once again I can barely keep ahold of the picks. I play heavy metal, so it’s essential that you control your pick with precision. Came across these stick on grips while I was looking for picks. Decided I’d give them a shot. At first tried putting some on a Dava control pick front and back. And it was necessary to trim them to fit. Well having them front and back was way too thick. So I put one unaltered on one side of a Gatorgrip pick. They’re surprisingly easy to put on accurately. But I’ve found I prefer the grip side to be on my thumb rather than my index finger.I am having significantly less trouble keeping a good grip on my picks with these grips on them.I’m really happy with these, I’m gonna keep on using them for the foreseeable future. I have huge hands. If you have tiny hands, the added thickness might bug you a bit.These come with plenty to keep you going for quite a while. They also come with two picks, one of which I really like, and one thick metal pick for some reason.These things are made of what appears to be silicone. So they flex with your pick. They don’t really hinder the flex of your pick. I ended up settling on a .73 mm, where before I was using a .88 or a .96. So it’s possible you might want to drop one or two thicknesses when using these. Occasionally I use a .58, but usually only when I’m warming up. These fit on ordinary shaped picks. If you want to put them on something unusual, they can be trimmed to fit.

I’m almost 65, and picked mountain dulcomer (back) up after a long hiatus. Discovered holding onto the thinner picks I prefer has gotten to be a problem. These solve that issue in short order. One on each side of the pick gives a rubbery but not sticky surface that keeps me from loosing the pick but still gives me flatpicking control.Such as my flatpicking goes.😁I can see a long, beautiful relationship blossoming with these pads. FWIW, the blue pick in the photo is not one of the three assorted guitar picks that comes with the pads. Those are purchase separately.VERY happy with my orthopedic pick grips!

Sturdy picks

I played classical guitar and fretless bass for a few years before getting into electric guitar, and I never could get the right mix of loose hand and light grip on the pick without losing the pick too often when strumming. I could use a very thin pick but nothing else, and I greatly prefer a heavier pick for any melodic or solo parts. I would try again every few years but never got it.I finally got the big brand picks that come with a slip on sleeve - and EVERYTHING changed. I could count on the pick staying in my fingers while not pinching it hard, even when I put the sleeve on a large size Jazz III. My fingers just naturally relaxed.I tried these and found they work even better. They are cheaper for the large set than just three of the others and can be cut to fit any pick size, and they avoid the issue of the pick shifting/rotating a little inside the sleeve.I was surprised to find I could very quickly do without the grips at all - my fingers just learned to hold it right - but I prefer using them nonetheless. I like both the sense of security and the way the straight front edge of the pads gives a good reference for the orientation of the pick - it just works unconsciously.Honestly, these are one of the few game changer products I wish I had had decades ago.Clearly most people learn how to strum with relative ease, but if you struggle give these a try.[I think my hands were just so used to NOT having a pick, plus my teacher insisted I use a tiny Jazz III when I picked up electric... and it backfired... I learned to fight the pick, to not trust my hand to hold it - and could never get past the death grip... until these. I truly just needed to learn to trust my hand.I find the thickness is fine. I put one on either side and have not minded the thickness at all. They've held up to a lot of use and I can't hear a difference at all.One small added bonus, especially over the black silicone brand name sleeves: these are translucent white and make dark picks much easier to find on the dark rug or on my amp with the lights down.

These grips are still hard to hang on to, and I can’t really tell they are any better than picks without the grips

WOW! This is a great product. I’m an older guitar player and the skin on my fingers is drier that it was 10 years ago. I tried lotions, sticky gel, picks that wrap around my finger and more but none worked. I bought this item as more of a last resort and was pleasantly surprised. Placing these pads on either side of my favorite pick have solved the problem of the pick slipping, either out of my fingers or turning in my fingers in the middle of a song. When I’m ready to play I can “stabilize” the pick between my fingers by squeezing it gently. From then on the pick stays in place and I can loosen my grip on the pick a bit. I’m happy to recommend this product.
