Q: Is the mirror surface straight and not concave please

The normal view side mirror is normal, but once rotated the 10 x magnifying mirror on the other side is very slightly curved yes. I didn't want one like that but I find this 10x mirror really good as I find I can do my eye makeup and it doesn't 'blur' when I move my face to the side, especially when I'm doing my eye liner.

The one I ordered was an 8". found when it arrived that if you held your face more than 5" away it was just a blurr. it said it was a 10 x mirror.

10x magnification. You get a VERY close up view, but you have to get very close to the mirror. Good for eyebrows etc. Though
