Park Tool BBT-30.4 Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set

Park tool quality, but I got caught out, despite forty years of bike building and servicing. Fits the bearings but would never fit through from the reverse to knock the bearings out of SRAM Dub BSA 73 cups, quoted as BB30. Outboard MTB SRAM Dub BB this tool will not fit. Pity I’d prefer to service the BB rather than throw it away every couple o thousand miles.

Good quality as expected from Park. It wouldn’t remove my PF30 BB because I didn’t realise my shell had an aftermarket adapter to convert PF30 to standard threaded BB. Only observation is that the tool could so easily be adapted to incorporate the features required to make it an installation tool as well.

Needed for removal of a BB30 bottom bracket, worked a treat. If you're not keen on the hammering method, there are bearing pullers you can use, but as long as you don't go crazy with the mallet this will get the bearings out in a handful of blows. Didn't use the fitting bits as have a proper tool for those, but assume they'd work well too. Not cheap, but it does the job, and does it well.

This product is purely to remove BB30. It states "Designed and built to install and remove BB30 bearings", however it only comes with the removal tool shown in the first picture. The second pictures shows a different product: Park Tool HHP-3. Be careful that you check this before ordering, I now have an expensive bike taken apart and have to spend a further £80 to put it back together. Other than that, the tool is good for what it is built for - removing your bottom bracket, but SDJ Sports need to change the listing ASAP.

Worked a treat, although I was a little nervous smashing the bearings out of my carbon frame (didn't feel right). Tip: support the frame well with protection against the frame and on a solid floor.

Fait son job pour l'extraction des roulements BB30. Petit conseil, avant le remontage des nouveaux roulements, les mettre au congélateur une heure avant pour qu'ils soient plus facile en remettre dans les gorges ;-)

Ha resultado bastante útil en la extracción. Las piezas para introducir los rodamientos, que inicialmente requiere una prensa,con una varilla roscada de 16mm de diámetro, tuercas y arandelas fueron válidas para alojarlos nuevamente.
