Great quality food coloring, I use it in buttercream and it doesn’t take too many drops to get the desired color!

Same colors I used as a former professional cake decorator in smaller amounts
I had my own bakery for 25 years and also worked in two super market bakeries for a couple of years so I had previous knowledge of Chefmaster colors. They were colors I was use to using and now that I am retired and only do cakes for the family I was happy to find them available in the amounts I will use as a home baker. I was concerned when ordering after some of the comments by other people but decided to go by the name I was familiar with. They WERE a bit difficult to open but I used a paring knife to help pull the seal off the top by the tab and it came off fairly easy. They could also be open by inserting a sharp skewer through the foil tab. someone else said the colors on the lids do not match the color name and I will have to agree, they are misleading if you don't actually read the name on the side. That is the BEST way to be sure you have the color you want. As long as you READ the name of the color they are great colors, as good as what I was use to as a professional decorator. They are nice, strong vivid colors as I used in the bakery. If you want a pastel I suggest using a toothpick or skewer dipped in the color until you get the shade you want. They are FAR AND ABOVE superior to Wilton colors for vibrant or soft colors and I highly recommend them. I only gave 3 stars for ease of use due to the ease of picking the wrong color if you don't actually read the name on the side....the colors on top CAN be misleading.
