Pumpkin Butter Dish

It is a well-made beautiful addition to my Autumn kitchen decor. It is a bit wider than a traditional butter dish and will accommodate two sticks of butter.

Beautiful. Goes with all of my sea salt kitchenware.

Love this piece - it is on the large side for butter but fits an Irish butter perfectly. Looks absolutely amazing on the counter. For some reason it makes me really happy to use it, something about the lid :) I too ordered white and got sent sea salt (light blue-grey). Must be some kind of glitch at Amazon since I am not the first person to mention this. Color on Le Creuset box marked accurately. Decided to keep it; needed for an event and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful butter dish! Made a great birthday gift for my daughter-in-law!

Le Cruset produces beautiful and durable products. We ordered this as a gift and marked for UPS delivery to the recipient's home. UPS rerouted the package via USPS which does not deliver to their home as they have a PO Box. We could not re-order and have it shipped because it would happen again and there was no way to mark both their home address and PO Box in the event USPS put their hands on it. Amazon needs to be in better control of the delivery process or give us other options.

I’ve found a recipe on Le Creuset website, designed for this particular dish. It is a baked Camembert with pomegranate. The pictures were too appealing to resist, so I got not only ingredients but the pumpkin dish itself. It is perfectly made, easy to use and clean. Can be used to store small portions of food, butter or cheese, though my primarily use was for baking
