Fantastic Low Cost Solution
I have been cloning plants since my early teens, after my mother showed me how. Over the years I have enjoyed good success until I purchased a midsize EZ Clone and failed consistently because of fungus infections. When I was moving, i gave the EZ Clone away to a hobby club and wished them the best of luck and promised myself to never buy another cloning machine.A few months later I read a report which suggested that high temperatures inside cloning machines could contribute to fungus growth. When I reviewed the description of this product I realized that there was no submerged water pump to disrupt internal temperatures. This product is attractively priced and I decided to give cloning machines one more try; and, I was not disappointed. My cloning superpowers were restored and mom would be proud. A little rooting hormone and pinch of 20-20-20 fertilizer and you can expect good root and leaf development. Are there shortfalls with this product? Sure, the humidity dome could be larger and there could be more cloning sites but if you have a cutting there is a reasonable expectation that you will be able to root it with very little effort. This has also given me the opernity to rethink cloning machines. Unless you are a major plant grower do we really need ever expanding cloning machines? What about micro-cloning machines driven by a single central air pump? Have a new plant to clone, just put a new micro-cloner online and you reduce the chance of cross contamination.

Waste of money, totally...
Boy, I sure wanted this to work... Did everything exactly as stated, sterilized the cutter, put exactly the right amount of water into the bucket, trimmed the cuttings exactly as suggested, (left 1-1/2" of stem below lid as suggested ), used both cloning gel "and" cloning powder on the cuttings, the right amount of light per instructions, (cfl's), ambient temperature of 76 degrees..., 24/7 and bubbles per instructions, everything exactly as per instructions, yet not one..., not one single clone has developed roots..., not one. The only thing happening is root rot. Water level as per instructions, used suggested sterilizing solution every 3 days per directions. This thing is a piece of crap. Cannot tell me others have not had this experience. What an absolute waste of money. In addition to being so simply made you should buy your own air pump, tubing, and airstone, and make your own for a neck of a lot cheaper, except it probably will give the same result but at least you won't be out $35 plus bucks. Extremely disappointed... Total waste of time, money, and cuttings. Save your money folks, or make your own only to find out the same thing but at least you won't be out so many $$$$. What an honest piece of deal this is! Zero Stars as this is a total, total waste. Tried 3 different times from scratch, new cuttings, fresh water, cloning gels/powders, same result..., Nothing but root rot. Folks, I'm a direction follower to the "T", and this thing is total garbage. Save your money!!

It is what it says it is but I suggest spending an extra 20 on a quality unit.
Unit showed up on time and contained everything it advertised, appears to work.. holes are wonky, two of them are too loose and the plant plug falls through but they are only 1 1/2" inch so I am hoping to open them to 2" and buy better plugs The ones they send are foam and won't last the test of time. The hose holes were not deburred and you will need to open them up a little with a knife to make the hose fit. Otherwise, it works I guess.

Happy
I've never cloned before. I started 6 clones with clonex gel and root booster and just left it alone. I checked after 8 days and had major roots on my clones and they were ready to plant. I'm very happy with system and compact size. I'd buy again

Good System - Read Reviews Before You Buy
Things to know before you buy:1. This is a 1 gallon bucket - It's a good size for cloning smaller-sized plants.2. The collar inserts are difficult to find. I haven't had luck finding replacements.3. Air pump and air stone. This is NOT a water pump. It works just as well if you read the directions and you are patient. I had one clone grow roots in about 7 days and the others took closer to 2-3 weeks.4. The humidome is just a cut rubbermaid container. It could be a bit taller and not a rubermaid container, but it does the job.The materials are not work the cost fo the item, but it is work my time. Also it gives me the idea to make my own with another bucket. :)

Not worth the price
Ok not what I expected at all for $47.00 give or take, I know that wasn't going to get some mind blowing device to grow me some clones but come on for $47.00 I could have bought everything 3 times over for that price, the most expensive thing was the pump and that was atist 10 bucks, I'm not knocking it yet though gonna give this thing a try since I done paid for it, but the pictures ain't what u really get and where is my sticker at, that was the eye catcher of it all anyway, don't waste money on this go to home depot or lowes and save yourself 47 bucks

Junk
This does operate like a normal clone bucket, therefore it does not work! There is no spray on the clones so no roots develop! You might as well stick your clones in a glass of water you would get the same basic results. All the pump does is average the water which serves no purpose. Caves Emptor!
