Just what I wanted
This mortar and pestle set is absolutely beautiful and well made. It is very sturdy, easy to use, grinds everything smoothly, worth the price, and easy to clean (if you follow manufacturers recommendations). It is heavy making it nonslip on your counter. I am so happy with this purchase.

Color might not match on both items
The exact color match of granite from Pestle to Mortar product might not resemble the photos shown on line. I reached out to customer service and they immediately sent a Pestle replacement. The new pestle is the same lighter color (see photo, not matching base). The Pestle is also shown in the video posted with the grind going up the shaft, mine only has it on the bottom, which resembles the other photo's. In all it's a very well made grinder, bamboo base is a nice touch to keep your countertops from being marred.

Would purchase again
Beautiful on my countertop. Purchased the smaller one first but returned to get the bigger one. Return was very easy and got the larger item within a few days. You do have to season the inside before using, but it is very easy to do.
