I bought this filter because in my county we had an E. coli outbreak and following it, they added free chlorine to the water supply. It was really drying and irritating my hair and face.THIS FILTER HAS BEEN AWESOME.It really works, I was so skeptical because I had never tried filters. I did a deep google dive and I was looking at filters that had the appropriate testing and honestly yeah!! It’s expensive but it literally saved my hair and skin!!! I will keep purchasing it because our area uses recycled water and I can seriously tell how much better my skin and hair has felt.It’s really light. The water pressure is still the same (I haven’t noticed a difference). The seal is great, you don’t need to add anything. Super easy installation in seconds. It has been pretty durable. I've had this filter for 2 weeks now...and I'm very happy with my choice. I did a lot of research...looking at around 20-30 different shower filters you can find on the internet and Amazon. Most models didn't seem to fit my needs: I want quality, durability and excellent functionality at a fair price. Too many models had negative issues with leaking, poor quality housing, filters that didn't really work well, poor sizing, difficult installation & or filter replacement issues and poor support from the manufacturer. So far, I'm loving this unit. It didn't extend my shower pipe out as much as others, it was a breeze to install, it seems very sturdy, it's nice looking, it had a minimal drop in water pressure and the price seems fair for the design and the quality of filtering it claims to deliver. I almost bought the Sante ($190, it claims to be the best in the world), but got this instead after reading comments and examining the fine details. So far, I'm happy, and would recommend this to a frugal buyer looking for a quality unit. thanks

I bought this shower filter because our city water is not good! We don't drink out of the tap, we use R/O water to drink and I decided after having a shower water filter years ago in my other home, that I would try a shower filter here and see if that helps my skin and hair, as your skin is your biggest absorber of chemicals etc....Not knowing what lurks in our water scares me. So, we have been using this about a month so far. what I have noticed is that the shampoo and body wash seem to work better, using less, and my hair is feeling softer when I rinse it. We do have a water softener, but this just helps make my hair feel better. I can already see some discoloration in the white/clear filter side, so it's doing its job. I'd recommend.

We have had our filter for a couple weeks now and have noticed a positive difference with the water quality in our shower. The flow was very important to us and the flow from this unit is very good. Installation was easy but I found I needed to not tighten the shower head and the filter to the stem as much as other water fittings I have installed in the past. The translucent rubber washer that seated against the stem from the wall was a bit difficult to keep flat when starting the threads. It tended to flip sideways very easy. It also flipped if it tightened it too much. Once I figured out the problem, I found the installation went well and there are absolutely no leaking. So far, so good. Replacing the filters in the future appears to be very easy.

Bought in January, started using it in February. Easy to attach. Good instructions. The white filter just turned brown a few days ago so it lasted almost 6 months. During usage, the water felt good on my skin, no itching after showering for my sensitive skin. The filter cannot be rinsed out like another reviewer suggested. That made no sense to me so I asked the seller and the seller said filter must be replaced not rinsed out. Yes the price is high for me because of my surgical bills but no complaints about the results.
