Got two as gifts. They are so much fun to play and easy to start using. They are cute.

herbert.
The media could not be loaded. Wanted one since i was 9 or so. Expectations met the product. Great and fun little guy. Black is a very good color for this, anz i does not chip. Im 11 and it is perfect and fun. Also vey durable and cute, and alot of different notes. There ara 2 main volume switches, but opening the mouth makes it louder makes 2 sub volumes.

Very fun
This is a hoot. I actually bought it as a gag gift but after watching some YouTube videos it’s a viable instrument. The only complaint is the volume is not loud. I would imagine the “pro” version is a little louder so it might be worth the extra money for that once if you’re concerned about that. Fun toy for now

Fun for 5 minutes.
This is more of a toy than a functional instrument. And it's fun and silly. My 12 year old really loves it but he's far more interested in his melodica and ukulele. This would be excellent for the 6-10 age range. The price also is a lot for what it is.Fun over priced toy.

For the preteen who has everything
So, my kid asked for this Otamatone for Christmas, and I thought, “Sure, why not?” It’s pretty expensive for what it is, considering the simplicity of the design. The color is exactly as described, which is one win. The sound? Well, it’s definitely… something. I’m still not sure I understand the purpose of this thing, but it makes him happy, so I guess that’s what counts. It doesn’t seem super durable, but at least it has a volume control, so that’s a plus. Overall, it seems like something more suited for pre-teens who enjoy making their parents question their life choices with each note. If you’re into quirky, noisy gifts that make your kid smile (and you cringe a little), then this is the one.
