Genius idea!
I do a LOT of printing - all day, every day. You can say what you like about Epson but this one piece of kit saves a small fortune - not to mention waste for the planet. I have 2 printers - a Canon and an Epson. My Epson is for "quality" printing, with archival ink and my Canon is for "standard" printing with generic ink. This little black box absorbs all the "waste" ink and you simply remove and replace when necessary. The printer carries on and life is good. Canon? the waste ink tank gets full, you get a warning and (regardless of all the hacks you might see online which, trust me, do NOT work) very soon it's goodnight Vienna and off you pop for a whole new printer!! For once, Epson save me money and I am very grateful indeed.

Easy to fit in Epson XP-8500
Easy to fit in Epson XP-8500. The printer gives warnings as the maintenence box nears end of life. Finally it tells you to replace it and stops working. Unscrew cover, slide out old box and slide in the new. Printer works again

An absolute necessity for the ongoing operation of my Epson XP 15000 printer, priced competitively.

You will eventually need one if you've got an Epson XP-8700
Does exactly what it says it does. To be honest, when I bought my printer I didn't realise that a maintenance cartridge was required. Eventually you find out you do...when your printer stops working as it's full. Happily, although this is an original Epson spare part, it's very reasonably priced....unlike their inks!
