These are the best, I have tried others with low fruiting, and poor seals inviting flies. I ordered one, lion's mane in 7 days, now have ordered 2 more then 2 more, oysters are fruiting, buttons germinating. I am going to open a farm in hawaii and was testing several methods - this is the best. The farm will have dozens of these monotubs - could not ask for a better design. We are environmental consultants, and the designers of the Land Exbibit at Disney World Florida for aquaponics and hydroponics, there we grew shitakes on the side of sweated fish tanks on manure-laced capillary mats off the side of tanks. This is a no-brain solution for the home grower and good to ease maintenance needs for mature growers.

I just sent an order for a third one of these. These monotubs are EXCELLENT they do exactly what they are supposed to do.They reduce the amount of maintenance needed from me.The customer service is excellent. I mistakenly threw away some air filters contacted them and they are issuing me a one time replacement free.A pleasure to both work with these tubs and the vendor.A million times better than a shoebox.

I used this to grow portobello mushrooms. Started with something easy. This tray has a lot of great features. Port holes with filter sponges. Easy assembly. I will by another as I expand my culinary taste for different types of mushrooms.

Don’t put it in the dishwasher. Rookie mistake.

I love this monotub. I have been struggling with humidity control in a dry region, and this monotub has been absolutely amazing for a fruiting chamber. The yields look healthier and consistent. The monotub is easy to set up and use. I really love it.The only feedback that I have is that due to the fact that the inner chamber sits directly on top of the water, it moves around a bit. Getting the inner lid and the top on together while the inner chamber floats around has been a little frustrating. I wish there were spacers or something to position the inner chamber where it should be when it sits on the water and some risers on the bottom so that it doesn't sit in the water. I also did notice some sidepins near the top. And, as someone else mentioned, the inner chamber could be a little sturdier.

This product delivers what it says. Perfect humidity! I didn't understand how this system worked the first few times. Now I understand, just follow the instructions and leave it alone. Hopefully my pictures can provide some understanding.

I had never heard of having to use reservoir. Too much moisture. Should've followed my instincts. Also black.top overlay doesn't allow air flow. Don't use it. Getting trich outbreak. Live and learn. More wasted money

I was very excited to receive this product and see how it performed then compared to "ol' faithful", my typical monotub. The packaging is top notch and arrived with zero damage and clear instructions and nothing missing.After a quick clean it was time to set things up and it's a breeze. Seriously easy and a bit easier since it's a bit shorter compared to my current monotub. The inner tray feels flimsy and is flexible so you'll need to take care adding substrate as it could easily tip over. They must have known that the first impression would come across as being flimsy. To address this they included a card to let you know it's not cheap plastic.Next step is adding a cup of water and the inner tray. Easy enough. Then the vent plate which needs to align correctly with the inner tray is where this product feels rushed. Does it line up? Yes. However, a more solid feel to confirm the correct fitment be helpful.Then it was time to add the clear lid. There's some waviness towards the top of the lid that looks like it was manufactured a bit off center and it causes a bit of distortion.This can be easily ignored though since the hole cuts were smooth and the included filters allow for easy adjustments to dial in your FAE and humidity. Which takes me to the fitment of the top lid to the bottom having a very secure fit, unless you'e using the vent plate. I would highly recommend using some binder clips on the corners to make sure it's sealed up.This product functions but seems more of a novelty since there are other quality products available where the fit and finish are not in question. I'm looking forward to the next version of this product that I would expect to be improved upon.Update: first time I've ever had to deal with trich, cannot recommend this product
