Genie CB 850 Spiral-Binding Device (up to 350 Sheets DIN A4, incl 75 Piece Starter Pack – Silver/Black

I've had a spiral binder before and then got rid of it when no longer needed. When I needed a new one, this proved to be perfect and excellent value for money. It does what it says, produces excellent results and has already saved me a lot of money by being able to do binding at home instead of going to commercial sources. Infact, everyone I know who needs this work doing is coming to me - I'll have to start charging them!! (only joking of course, for friends).

Easy to use and the quality is good.

I bought this before the summer holidays in preparation for use in September. I should have opened and used before as I'm way out of time to return and it's rubbish. It doesn't cut correctly, it's misaligned. I haven't even tried the comb as there's no point. Really bad. I have added a photo to show a the straight line on the base, this shows how bad it is.

I find this machine is excellent. Really happy with the easy binding process and the result. It came with a bundle of binding materials which were a great deal especially is you are a first-time user.

one word....FANTASTIC

It is far from perfect. If you want to use it from time to time it is too big and has an impractical shape. If you want to use it daily, the quality is too low. Perforating is ok but binding is not. Tines (brackets) that unwound the spins are of a pointed shape, are too short and do not fully come out. This causes the spins to jump from the tines. In addition, the lever does not work smoothly, it moves with resistance and jumps, which makes it more difficult to set the spins. I think I will return it.

The product punches paper fine but the mechanism for the comb does not work. Once you place the comb on the prongs, you cannot open the comb. I would not recommend it.

Cette relieuse troue 12 feuilles (A4 80g) maximum en meme temps. Ou une seule feuille plastique ou cartonnée pour les dossiers. Aucun défaut sur ce point, c'est impeccable. Vous avez les marques pour bien caler la feuille et faire les trous au bon endroit. J'ai pu faire mon dossier de 90 pages avec reliure plastique pour mon passage au jury. Conseil: Acheter les reliures plastiques à la bonne taille. Ceux fournis sont trop petits pour autant de page, mais impeccable pour des petits projets. J'ai été à bureau vallée, c'est moins chère là bas. J'ai également fait deux dossiers de 70 pages chacun, relié aussi. Pour finir, la relieuse peut poinçonner (4 trous) les feuilles A4 pour les intégrer dans un classeur à 4 anneaux. Bel outils qui va me servir pour beaucoup de chose. Je suis bien contente.

Das Gerät ist sehr praktisch und funktioniert einwandfrei. Sowohl das Lochen, als auch das Binden ist sehr einfach. Man hat eine gute Auswahl an Binderücken, sowie an Deckblättern und abschließende Papiere. Man spart sich so definitiv einiges an Geld, wenn man sonst alles Binden lassen müsste. Es ist wirklich super einfach und die Qualität des Geräts hat mich überzeugt.
