I’ve used other ice makers before. This one is pretty not too bulky or too loud. It takes about 2 hrs to make all the ice when you fill the tub with water just below the basket. I get the ice and put in the freezer after a couple of batches have dropped. So I don’t have to worry about the ice melting You can hear the difference when the ice maker runs out of enough water to make another batch and there is a light to confirm more water is needed It has a long cord so you can drain water from the bottom of the tub when needed. I plug and unplug my ice maker frequently. It’s mainly important to make sure it’s level. Easy to use good cost value replacement for a broken refrigerator ice maker. I’ll never buy aother refrigerator based on the built in ice maker again! It’s easier and cheaper to purchase countertop ice maker.

Use this constantly! Quite a machine! Makes ice fast, cries when she out of water. We named her Agatha. We can hear when Agatha isn't happy for sure. But she perks up and doesn't hold a grudge when her belly is full.

We ordered this icemaker to tide us over until our fridge icemaker could be repaired. It's a good thing that we bought it, because the repair time is dragging on forever.It's a little smaller than we expected, but it works really fast. Its small ice basket holds several batches of the small cubes. There is a selection of "small" or "large" cubes, but "small" is pretty tiny. The "large" setting puts out batches every 7-9 minutes, so we were able to fill up the fridge bin in just a few hours.The sensors for low water and full ice basket work very well. Other than the smaller than expected size of the unit and the cubes, we are very happy with its performance. It is well designed and fits nicely on the counter. It seems to be made of quality materials and the scoop and carry strap are a nice touch.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who just got her knee replaced. She loves it and uses it quite often, not just for her knee, but for drinks and to water certain plants as well.

Bought this for my granddaughter, in college she loves it and so does her roommate it is perfect for ice coffee.

It's a shame I have to give it at least one star, which I feel the product has to last at least 6 months to warrant, used as little as this was.I loved it while it worked. Unfortunately, it only worked 5 times, and each time I drained and made sure it dried out before closing it all up.The bottom line is, it's got design issues at the compnent level or production problems regarding quality control.It's like brand new, delivered 11 weeks ago, used it three times in the first few weeks, then twice more over the next month. I filled it up, turned it on, the arm moves, it says add water, but it's up to the upper fill line. Resetting it doesn't work, I can't hear the fans, which is an indication of a circuit problem, and the add water light is a by product.
