I only had to install the axle and wheels. No tools needed.

what are folded dimensions? Looking for total amount of space this takes up folded, to see if it's compatible with our RV.

It fits in the trunk of my Nissan Sentra. But coming from a family of RVs it is right one. I would just suggest an adapter for a larger tank when camping.
