MadFortune Desktop 1GB DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400 240pin

We purchased this RAM cards for my Dell Optiplex 755 after experiencing problems with several other RAM cards in the past, ones originally included with it (it was refurbished). To make a long story short, of the three, two didn't work, and for the longest time we were running Windows 7 on a single gigabyte of physical memory. Seeing as that's how much my phone runs with, and that my laptop had two, this was not ideal.Being more computer literate than before, after cannibalizing my PC to remove the aforementioned RAM cards in the past, the installation was very simple, but not very easy. Not on the part of the cards themselves, but because they are very, very difficult to get in, though I had last minute shakes on whether or not the pin and make was right ("Was it 240pin, or 200? DDR2, or DDR something-something?!") However, they work fantastically, and with them, I learned that one of the previous RAM cards DID work... I just hadn't put it in all the way for fear of snapping it like a twig.To wit, the cards are deceptively durable. I'd say just don't push it, but that's EXACTLY what you need to do.Now I'm happily running with 6gbs of RAM and loving it.

Solid DDR2 Memory for the price. I picked this up last week due to the fact that my system is an older Intel Dell Inspiron 530 that requires DDR2 memory. I was hesitant to purchase as I have been burned before with cheaper memory from other companies, BUT MemoryTek has so far delivered quality DDR2 memory for a decent price. Though they were shorter in height than my OG Memory they fit perfectly and after booting had no issues as my system recognized all four 2GB cards without a hitch!!!! I am now able to play a few games that I had trouble playing in the past with the OG 4GB that came installed; now they run perfectly. I am hesitant to give a full 5 Stars as it has only been a few days since it was installed but getting them quickly and at the price MemoryTek deserves it.

This memory was an excellent value and has made a noticeable difference in performance. I shopped around (online) just about everywhere and this was by far the best price. I contacted MadFortune (the seller) prior to purchase to make sure this memory was compatible with my system. They assured me that it was and said they would be happy to issue a refund if it was not. They responded to my inquiry almost immediately on a Sunday! Now that's great customer service.I received and installed the memory today it's working flawlessly and has made a significant improvement in performance.Great seller. Excellent product. They've got my business!

The ram was working good, the only thing that i dont want is the picture that they show in their site. I thought i bought 2 rams but i received only 1 ram. They said the cost in the site is for 1 piece of a ram. But the picture shows 2 rams Its confusing. So i need to buy again another 1 and wait again to deliver for my order but the RAM was working good so far.

Used for 12 year old Intel Core 2 duo system. Went in easy, worked first time, and still ticking. Nice packaging, quick shipping.I dug this old PC out of the trash. It worked, but I wanted to optimize it if I could do it on the cheap. It had 2 GB when I got it, so I ordered this ram. After I ordered These ram modules I decided that I really wanted to put in 16 GB just to have it, so I thought I'd send it back when it got here, then I found that the 8GB of ram I had originally ordered was the most this system would support, so I put it in when it came, and it works perfectly. Would purchase again if in the same situation.

Probably is good ram. However neither stick worked for me brand new out the box. I've been rebuilding computers for year. You just get lemons sometimes. It happens.

Good ram memory at a great price. $40 cheaper than crucial. Uses it to max out my mom's old pc, wich runs like a new machine now with no lag. Thank you vey much for the great deal. Also they have good customer service, susan followed up personally on my order, now that is some old school level service i haven't experienced in about a decade.

This product was intended to increase the RAM in an existing computer. Shortly after I installed it, my computer developed random crashes. I started troubleshooting with the assumption that I had picked up a virus with no results. I went down list of other potential causes, not expecting a new memory board to fail or to have been defective. I finally reinstalled the old memory and have not had a problem since. I'm past the return date, so I will just put these two modules in the trash. No one should buy any of these. I should have been alerted when the product arrived in a clear plastic contained marked "This is a set Do not separate." with no other identity and sealed with Scotch tape.
