Amazon Basics New iPad 2017 Smart Case Auto Wake/Sleep Cover, Black, 9.7"

I purchased this case in January of 2018. It is now December of 2018 and I need to purchase a new case as all the corners of this case have broken off and it will no longer hold the iPad. I did not mis-treat this case, but the everyday stress of opening and closing, holding the iPad, turning the iPad has broken all the corners off. I have ordered a new case, but needless to say, it is not the same case.

Badly made. I don’t beat up products like my kids so to notice the edges literally cracking and falling apart.. it definitely wasn’t made well. I didn’t even have it for 2 month before I noticed this. But that’s what I get for ordering amazon basics. I’ll replace it with a UB Pro.. that case is on my iPhone XS Max and love it

Worked great for about 3 weeks and then the plastic around corners started cracking. This is not the result of any drops or impact, looks like stress fractures from poor quality plastic or bad mold. Maybe the design is to tight and temperature changes stress the plastic. Very disappointed although for the price I guess that's what you get.

Don’t buy this iPad case.. it’s not good. The side of the edge cracked after my daughter dropped it once, only once. We had it for 6 weeks and it’s done and gone. Searching for new replacement.

This thing is legit pretty terrible. I suppose for $7 it will provide some basic cover for your device, like a splash of water or something. But it also feels like I can crack it with a tiny movement or drop. If you’re looking for any sort of protection, keep clear.

1. The cover is a 2-fold, definitely not the most comfy option. The stand is also weird and gets loosened out after couple of months.2. The edges of the hard cover to the iPad started to breakaway after 60 days of very light usage and eventually the iPad came out of the cover. Currently the cover is on sale but I think it is better to buy something which works longer than price point.

This case does its job well, although it is weird having to put the edge of the cover into a flap to keep it from falling down. The price was amazing too

I like everything about this notebook except the keyboard. After using this for a few months, the letters started to fade on the most frequently used keys. Now the letters are completely gone.

The case is quite neat and free from unnecessary fripperies. If it fitted my iPad I'd be quite pleased with it. Since it doesn't, it's a waste of space !

Expected better from Basics brand. Cover does the job but its poor quality. Edges started chipping off in a month. There is no magnet on front which keeps the top cover hanging.

I have bought the case for Amazon prime another account which is my friend account. the case in first looks good but the plastic material is very poor it will start breaking automatically after a few days of use.Sorry, Amazon team you have your level best to deliver the goods to customers.

At the beginning everything was look good, but the corners starts wearing in just 5 days of use, such worst thing does not expected from Amazon basic, totaly waste of money.

This is as close a unit as I could Find to the original Apple Cover that they sold in the days of the iPad 1. It isn’tas good when it is folded into a stand as the original but the feel and quality seem close.
