Springs worked for my application (tuning dial cord tension), but note that the plastic box is not compartmentalized. Each spring size is in a tiny poly bag, labeled for size in both in and mm. Bags are then jumbled together in the box, making it harder to find the size you need. Other sellers feature compartmentalized boxes, so deducting one star.
