These are great. I'm seriously impressed. The build quality is pretty good - certainly above average when you compare to the usual cheap three AAA flashlights. The aluminum feels solid and the machining is pretty good - the threads for the battery aren't perfect but they're a lot smoother and better than most. Certainly for how inexpensive these are, these are way better made than you would expect. Even the AAA holder cartridge is well made, solid contacts, and works really well. The switches click firmly and work reliably from the fiddling I've done so far. Obviously time will tell how well they hold up, but first impressions are good.I love the fact that these have two modes - on... and off. No super dim/blindingly overbright/disco inferno modes, just on - and off. They operate exactly how everyone on the planet expects a flashlight to work. Brilliant. I love it.The focusing mechanism is pretty smart. Sure, you can rotate it to slowly focus in and out, or you can just push and pull it and slide it up and down smoothly. It works well - I tend not to need focusing but it's nice to have and well implemented.They run great on NiMH AAAs, but the real reason I wanted these was that they can also use standard 18650 cells. Obviously you need a standalone battery charger, but, this means you can take advantage of the high power density and long life of li-ion batteries. And 18650's are so ubiquitous. I break apart old junk laptop batteries, frequently some of the cells are perfectly good - and a flashlight like this is the perfect application for a maybe kind of used/old battery. I took some cells salvaged from a decade old dead laptop battery and loaded a couple of these flashlights up with them - works perfectly. Nice and bright and the capacity will be a lot better than AAAs - even an old used worn cell like I'm using is about double the capacity of your average NiMH or alkaline AAA.So yeah - flexible, inexpensive, pretty well made, nice and bright - perfect. A great value for the price. Love it. I'm probably going to buy some more of these. It's always nice to have a flashlight handy - a proper one, that's bright and useful unlike the tiny thing on your phone - and these are cheap enough you can keep one everywhere.

Simple, small, bright. No multiple light modes... just on/off. Just what I wanted. I spread these all over the house, and in the cars. This is my second six-pack of lights. The first pack was a different brand, but these lights are just as good. Good value.

Wow what a deal! The only thing missing is a clip. These are BRIGHT. Held under a gun in the woods at night you will feel at ease as you will see everything for a long ways out. Another thing about them is the switch is on and off only. No stupid flashing or modes you will never use. The switch is positive and does not get turned on by accident. The lanyard is nice since it does not have a clip but one can be purchased separately here on Amazon. I was also surprised at how well they worked with Alkalyne batteries but I did buy rechargable lithium batteries for all of them to save money and at the price of these I use the savings to buy the lithium batteries. The zoom goes from super wide to super long distance. As fars as battery life they last as long as all the rest in this class depending on whether you use alkaliyn or lithium. As far as build quality I wouldn't drop it into a hammer mill but they should stand up to outdoors use just fine.

These are really good flashlights at a really good price ! When I bought them I figured you get what you pay for, so I did not have high expectations, but these flashlights took me by surprise. They are really bright, beam is easily adjustable without a lot of confusing options. I haven't had them too long, but I've used them camping and around the house and they have performed like expensive flashlights every inch of the way. Highly recommended.

I do a lot of walking and sometimes get caught out after dark, I wanted a couple of small powerful flashlight that I could take with me incase needed. Although I love the zoom in zoom out feature, they seem durable, and the fact they are water resistant is a plus, but these are not as bright as I had hoped, are they brighter than a standard flashlight, yes, are they super bright and let me see deep into the woods, no.Great for general use but I will be on the hunt for some new hiking flashlights.

I have a ton of these flashlights stashed all over my sailboat and my cabin, they’re very reliable except of course the tail cap starts failing after a few years. Some component corrodes and you have to bang it, shake it, tap the tail cap switch, etc. Still for this price and with good 18650 batteries these flashlights are great when you need a lot of them in a lot of handy places. They’re bright but not too bright and the batteries last a very long time even sitting unused.

Exactly what we wanted! YES! No more blinking lights, low beam, high beam, 6 clicks to turn it off nonsense! THESE flashlights are GOLDEN. On/OFF only! 3 AAA batteries! Super bright light! Perfect price as well!!! Thanks so much, you're going to love these!
