Yes, you can use on painted surfaces. Might try to spray on your rag first, and then wipe.

Does this clean cold grease on blacktop stove?

as long as the grease is not 'burned in around the heating coils' but it really no better than Dawn dish washing liquid. I had a black burned area around the burners and Jaws did not do anything to release this burned on grease. It is a good all purpose cleaner but I think its expensive...no better than any other, convenient and good but so are a lot of others.

Are the pods recyclable? What about packaging?
