Works GREAT
My mom likes to feed the wildlife and enjoyed watching them until it got too dark to see. She could see movement but not the actual critter. I purchased these and she was a giddy school girl retelling what she saw!! At first, we tried looking out the window but the inferred was reflecting off the glass. Once we opened the window, WOW! The clarity is amazing. She wears glasses and doesn't hold the goggles up to her eyes but looks through them, about 4 inches away, while still wearing her glasses. These goggles are extremely easy to use and not frustrating at all. My mom is techno-challenged and late 86, but is totally in love with these and the ease of use. Would definitely purchase again for backyard use!!

AS DESCRIBED
I was not expecting a perfect night vision for the price. I will just say that 100/150 yards it is great.Did not have the opportunity to check it 200 yards. The image is grainy. However you know whatyour looking at. easy to use

Easy to Use but Limited
I've always had a fascination with night vision binoculars. Ever since the 1990's, when they started to be available to the public I became a fan. In the beginning, all that you could find were night vision mono/binoculars and cameras with a coarse black and white image but as time progressed so did the technology. Now you can get binoculars/cameras with beautiful high resolution color displays.I've looked at a few night vision binoculars with photo capability built in. I've gotten a few and played with them. This one is the latest and least expensive. It's also the least impressive for a number of reasons.I'm not a hunter or wildlife enthusiast. I do like wildlife and I love to take pictures of wildlife, but I'm not one to wander around in the night for some happenchance encounters. That's not me. I love photography and also technology and wildlife or landscape pictures are part of what I enjoy but they're not paramount in my mind. The capability and the technology to be able to take those pictures is what I'm interested in.These binoculars are good for the price but they don't stand up to those that cost just a little bit more. The screen is bright but a little coarse in comparison. While you do get a 3x digital zoom, others I've used provide an 8x zoom. The videos are HD while others are 4K. The still pictures are 2MP (1920x1080 pixels) while others, a bit more expensive, can take from 2MP up to 52MP stills. One other note on the positive side. This unit uses an 18650 Li-Ion battery. You can charge it inside the binoculars but you can also take the battery out. 18650 batteries are a very common size and can be purchased everywhere. I have a large collection that I keep charged and ready to go. If you carry a spare when you go out with the binoculars and your battery runs out of juice, you can pop in your fresh battery rather than wait for the battery to charge.Overall, I like these binoculars. They're easy to use and if I were constrained by price this might be a good choice. For just a little more you can have something significantly better.

Best item I have purchased for night time wildlife viewing in a long time!
These are awesome. I could hardly wait for them to arrive. Once they did, I charged the unit to full and went outside. I was extremely happy with their performance. I was seeing items I could not find with just my normal eyesight. I have used actual nigh vision, (military grade) and then the cheaper stuff after I left the military. This unit is so far above the standard night vision, unless you want to pay thousands of dollars for Military Grade equipment. You cannot beat them for the price. I found them easy to operate. The unit is very lite weight and comfortable to use. The viewing area is spacious and easy to use. AND, these are not impacted by daylight the way nigh vision is, so they are safe to use any time. I tried to show the three versions of the zoom in my photos, hopefully you can see he difference. The only small negatives which are not significant to me are two items. 1. The weatherproof rubber strip, I have a hard time getting it back over the charging port, so I will be aware of this if operating in wet conditions. 2. I am in my 60's and my eyesight is that of my age, but I did not seem to be able to get a really crisp focus. I could easily see everything I wanted however, so for my use it will fit my needs. I will continue to try the focus wheel and make this as best I can. Please do not get me wrong, I can see 98% of everything, so the picture is still very good, just not crisp if you know what I mean. No problem making out deer, coyotes or other critters at all. In my Opinion, worth the price!

Amazing night vision technology for the price
The media could not be loaded. Be sure to watch my video in this review for a demonstration. It takes a little bit of getting used to the menu system and buttond, but once you do, you are able to navigate pretty quickly from photo mode, to video mode, to settings mode. There is a focus ring on the front left lens that you will use to adjust your focus. The LCD viewfinder has amazingly good quality as well and easy on the eyes.As you will see in my video, what quickly blew me away was just how dark and pitch black everything was and yet when I turned on the night vision I could literally see what was going on and certainly if there was any movement in the area. There is a filter that goes on one of the front lenses for daytime use. You simply take that filter off when you're going into night vision. The build quality of this unit almost feels like police or military level. It has a robust rubber body the repels water very well and all of the buttons are sealed underneath the rubber body. There's really not a whole lot more to say except, look at the photos and watch the video. It pretty much says it all. But I will say, for you hunters out there, you'll definitely want this night vision in your artillery.
