Bought this as I needed to restrict how much my cats were eating. I have it set up to deliver biscuits at certain times throughout the day. It also means if I am running late getting in from work that they will atleast get biscuits. Well, 1 of them will. Unfortunately only 1 of my cats responds to this going off, so the other goes hungry.

I bought this to feed my rabbits their pellets while I'm away. I have already introduced it to them to get them used to it as it is a little noisy as the food comes out. After a week they now run over when they hear the recording of my voice before the food is dispensed. I have to use it battery powered as the rabbits would chew through the power lead. The batteries have been in nearly two weeks so far and dispensed once per day so I know they will be ok for feeds while I'm away. Very happy with the product

Item arrived well packed and was easy to put together. Manual is adequate enough to allow you to set up the unit. The voice recording feature is nice, but with the inability to control the volume (or I didn't find any way to), it's really loud and actually scared the cats away, so I turned that feature off.The 6 feeding time options with individual portion control size should be more than enough for most cats and is a great way to prevent your cats over-eating in one sitting.The dispenser will sometimes fling a single nugget outside of the ball, but that's just down to the the delivery mechanism used to control the portions and in my opinion, it's not a problem.All-in-all, happy with the purchase.

I got this for my dog as it enabled me to split her meals better throughout the day and helps manage a stricter meal routine. The portion sizes are small however what I did was fill the reservoir with her full serving size and pressed the "One Serving" button until it had all gone (Turned out to be 12 servings/meal) and could then program this in throughout the day. Programming was easy and you get the option to program in 6 meals. The design feels nice and sturdy and with the filtered lid you can't smell the food. The propeller used to distribute the food is slightly rubbery so if theres too much of a resistance it varies the portion size very slightly but I haven't noticed a HUGE difference.My main issue with this is the locking mechanism for the led screen. Now my dog is not the brightest of sparks but as the locking is just holding one of the touch buttons for a couple of seconds, twice now in the last week and a half she has unlocked the controls which although she does not have the intelligence to program it herself it has me having to scramble through the whole thing again to make sure her meal sizes etc are still correct. This would be SO much better if it just had a simple Lock/Unlock switch on the side or something (or even a physical button)

Microphone not working

Can set a lot of meals throughout the day and can change the quantity that comes out. It's the same quantity that comes out each time, a small serving x serving size. For example, you set it for one serving being 4 x for example, it will simply push out the same small amount 4 times at the time you set it for. The serving size doesn't change, but the amount of times it comes out does. Works well, has a back up battery. Holds a good amount of food for 2 cats, last for several weeks. Food comes out mostly evenly on both sides. Only small complaint is that for the regular size kibbles, I have to add more quantity to the timer. The bigger the kibble, the smaller the amount of food that gets pushed out, so you may need to up the portion to compensate for this. Really like it, allows me to go away for a while knowing my cats are being fed. Also easy to clean.
