You won’t regret getting this lens, especially at this price point. The sharpness is excellent, and the autofocus is quite accurate — neither too fast nor sluggish.I mainly use it for video on a Sony A7IV, and honestly, I couldn’t ask for more. On top of that, its compact design and lightweight build make it really comfortable to use for long sessions and easy to carry around.Whether you're just starting out or already have experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Using on an a6100 this lens is a great sharp lens with beautiful color. It is slightly soft in the corners but still better then many more expensive lenses. I highly recommend for all uses except very low light. I find it does not do well in dark situations and is hard to get focused. Overall you can't get any better at this price and it competes with lenses twice the price. With proper lighting it's just as good as my sigma.

I’ve had a year with The 20m f2.8 is a surprisingly good lens it’s small. It’s light. Very wide, medium sharpness, I find the rolloff is pleasant at 2.8 , this lens has a ton of characteristics in image quality, and honestly, the auto focused hasn’t given me any trouble , it’s not slow, but it’s not snappy. It really gives a good video effect and that’s what I mostly use it for, i’m happy with the speed it focuses ,,. I’m definitely getting the 40 mil F2.5 to add to the collection. I don’t know how Viltrox is doing this at these prices ❣️ but I’m not complaining

Edit: To their credit, customer service eventually came through. They followed up and sent me a replacement lens, which I really appreciated. While the initial experience was frustrating, I’m glad they ultimately resolved the issue. I’m updating this review to reflect that effort and their willingness to make things right. Just make sure that the lens you received is new and not usedI received the lens in a damaged package, and it looked used right out of the box. I didn’t mind that, as long as it worked. Unfortunately, after just a month of light use, a spot started appearing in all my videos, which you can clearly see in the photos I’ve attached.I contacted customer service and provided everything they asked for—serial number, purchase info, proof of issue. In the end, they told me to test it on another camera—as if I just have multiple cameras lying around.I’m now stuck with a defective lens and no real support. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this product or company to anyone.

Nice lens. Sharp!

While it's an amazing lens, it clearly arrived used. A piece of hair was included under one of the pieces of tape, the outer sleeve had a cut in it, and the inner box had both pieces of security tape cut already. I would recommend the lens quality-wise but I don't trust the brand due to there being no indication of this being a used lens in the listing.
