... and I have to say I think it a good piece of kit
I have had the clock for some time now and I have to say I think it a good piece of kit. Well-made and has a good weight to it ( although not too heavy). The display is big and clear and easy to read. The back lit display is good and just bright enough to see the display when the button is depressed but not too bright. All in all I would give it 10 out of 10 , a good little alarm clock well fit for its purpose.*******UPDATE ***** 08/11/2020*****Well the clock is still going strong and I haven’t had any issues at all since I purchased it. I think in all the time I have had it I have only changed batteries twice. Time keeping is still excellent ( it’s radio controlled so it better be) , all in all it was well worth the price.********. UPDATE 16/10/23 ***********Yes it's still working and I rarely have to change the batteries, it's worked for years with no issues, which just goes to show how well it's made.

It has a good back-light and is easy to read
This clock wont win any design awards it is just a square box. It has a good back-light and is easy to read. The buttons at the back to set time, date etc are simple and easy to use. I have had some where I have had to keep referring back to the instructions because they were so complicated. It is a travel alarm but there does not seem to be an override on it for adjusting to a different time zone and on holiday on Majorca it stayed stubbornly an hour ahead of UK time, hence the four stars. That is not too much of a problem and since I use it at home as my regular alarm/bedside clock it is well used and small so doesn't take up much space on my bed side table.

Loud alarm with a snooze option
I bought this alarm to replace my old one. I like the fact that the display is full of information, especially the temperature (both - C or F) . The time digits are big and are easy to read, even straight after waking up. There is a big button on top of it, that switches the backlit on (only for a few sec.), so you will never miss it.It comes with full manual, detailing how to set everything up, so if you follow it, there will be no problem. You can set only one alarm, but that is enough for me.You can change between 12H/24H format.I really like this clock, I think it's worth the money and I would recommend it to everyone.

GREAT ALARM CLOCK
Originally bought this as a travel clock but it is a bit big for that so as my alarm clock was on it's last legs I started using this and am so pleased with it. Being radio controlled it sets itself so no fiddling about setting it. The numbers on the dial etc are big which I like, the backlight is a soothing orange instead of usual green. It has day, date, temperature and humidity readout on front of clock under the time. The alarm itself is a crescendo alarm and it does also have a snooze button on top which is very handy as alarm shut off button is at the back of the clock with all the other settings. It's also a very sturdy clock so I can't see it breaking easy. All in all this is a very good buy.

Bells & Whistles But Impractical
It's billed as a "travel" alarm clock (presumably because it's powered by batteries) but it's pretty chunky and heavy so wouldn't be something I'd pack. (Does anyone NOT use their phone as an alarm clock when they're travelling these days?) I should have read the dimensions more closely because I had the impression it was smaller. It's 5" x 5" x 2"Pros: big display; good back light; easy to use snooze button; automatic time setting; insistent alarm.Cons: hard to set because the buttons are all on the back. Difficult to switch the alarm off (rather than snooze it) when half awake for the same reason. Alarm only rings for about a minute, then stops. Easily knocked over because of its height to depth ratio.Observations: the solar panel seems unnecessary and makes it much larger than it needs to be. Since it has to have batteries, why bother with the solar panel? Okay, the thermometer and humidity readings are a novelty but really, who needs them? I've had it for a month and long since stopped looking at them. Over all it's functional but the cons outweigh the pros for me and I'm now looking for something with buttons on the front and fewer gimmicks.

No signal
The clock does not pick up the radio controlled time, despite being in central London and away from electromagnetic interference. Bought specifically for its radio-controlled features but it's not working. Second star is for nice design and concept, but there seems to be some design issue.

Nice little clock.
This is a nice clock - feels well made, it was easy to set up and it picked up the remote signal very quickly. The orange backlight is pleasant, it lasts for a few seconds after you press the button. I haven't bothered with the alarm as I'm only using this on my work desk. The temperature seems accurate after comparing it to my weather station as well. Not sure how effective the solar panel will be, it seems oddly placed on the front, but the clock itself is hardly going to eat batteries so I've kept the review at five stars. I'll update this if I have any issues with longevity etc.

NOT RELIABLE
This is a smart looking clock, but the setting buttons are awkward to use and I have found the alarm to be unreliable and the alarm is not very loud either.
