A reasonable substitute for a Brunton’s compass
Good field worthy compass that can also be used as a geologists Brunton compass. The clinker is not very accurate and cannot be used for measuring very steep ( beyond 80 degree) dips.

Geological use.
Compass works as it should. For geological purposes bedding attitude can't be taken from below the bed. Clinometer reading is accurate. However, If Clinometer could be provided with the facility to take reading from below as well it will be great. The small convex nature of glass in the front actually makes it harder to take accurate readings of the compass.

I don't recommend.
Seller is good but there is flaw in Basic Design, i don't know what? When you raise your wrist to see direction it doesn't show you right direction instantly and many times wrong direction is shown. You have to shake your wrist few times to get the right direction.
