Great Quality and Value
This is my second pair of Lindstorm cutters; I've had the first pair for over 20 years and have been using them constantly for the last 5 cuttingwire for jewelry making. I bought this pair to cut heavier gauge wire (16, 14) and it works great. They are pricier than some, but worth everypenny!

Lindstrom cutters are durable and always make clean flush cuts. Wouldn't use anything else.
I've been servicing electronics for forty years and have used many different brands of cutters. I like the Lindstrom brand for their durability, ergonomics and clean flush cuts. These are a good value and will last fifteen years with continuous use if not abused by cutting things outside their purpose.

You won't be disappointed in these qualtiy tools.
Just another 5-star review. I own three pair of these, and consider them the best available. Not cheap, but real quality for electronics work. But don't use them to cut hard metals like steel. They work great on copper wire and metals of similar soft nature like aluminum.

good product; not worth the price
good product; not worth the price. jaws do not meet cleanly, and are not evenly milled.better made than most other tools I own, though.

Disappointed
When I first got these, I used them three times. They were amazing. I was so happy but as you see in the picture after the third time, I went to cut my wire again and the tip literally cracked. They are still useful, but not what I need them for you know those tight ends.

My favorite cutters, good split between cost and function
When I bought these, I also bought three other pairs of cutters, one at $6, one at $12 and one at $60. I rapidly forgot which was which price. I resolved to just use them all a few months and see which I liked best. These quickly bubbled to the top. Partly it's the precision, partly it's the way they spring, partly it's the fact that there's very little gap between the blades for a wire to slip through uncut. The top cost item (Weller) was better built, but I wouldn't bother spending double the money unless you're going to be using them an awful lot. For even moderately heavy use, unless it's your livelihood, these are great.
