Great value product to make old pc display compatible with new HDMI monitor
Works perfectly! I have two PCs with VGA. New monitor has VGA and HDMI. But with VGA cable I needed to keep connecting and disconnecting the cable depending on which PC I wanted to use. With this VGA to HDMI adaptor I can keep both connected and select which PC to display using Input selector on the monitor itself.And it was great value for its price. Initially I thought there was a compatibility issue because there was no display. But when I connected the power from a USB outlet it solved the issue.PS. Only Con is though it works fine with Windows OS, with Linux and Ubuntu there is a resolution and clarity issue

Compact and Effective
Just got it delivered today. Nice design, compact, slim and effective.I am using with a monitor with Mini HDMI port, connected this to my laptop's VGA (the only port to connect to an external display). The unit gets heated a bit, but no other issues.I am running Fedora Linux in my system. Of course I had to add and configure a new display resolution to match the monitor's ratio using xrandr.Laptop > VGA > HDMI > MonitorI tested it on Windows 10 and Fedora 41.

Perfect VGA to HDMI connector
Very perfect product for those who don't have HDMI Port on Old Laptop. Speaker jack cable length is short. It doesn't reach the other side of the laptop. My speaker jack is on right side and VGA Port is on left side. Connectivity is super smooth. No installation needed. Plug and play only. Sound quality depends on the video. Video quality is as displayed on the laptop or pc. Thanks. Recommended for sure.

I wish i could give it a 0. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK. IT DOES NOT WORK AND IS POORLY DESIGNED AS IT DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY TO THE CPU PORT.
