Very Train Horn. Easy installation
Very, very loud train horn. Wife prohibited me from honking horn while she is in the car… does not like the looks we get. Bought a cheap 600 db air horn to try to save money and it was a waste of money. Save up and get the right horn the first time.

Great bang for the buck
Definitely can hear me coming now, big improvement from stock setup. Fit right behind grill but made it work well. Great product for the price.

The greatest!
The media could not be loaded. This horn is even better than advertised. So awesome! I wasted money on a cheap knockoff a few months ago and was very disappointed. Hornblasters delivered though. The difference in quality is absolutley worth it. Don't waste installation time and money on some cheap Chinese knockoff, just to have to uninstall and buy a better one. If you want a loud train horn, Hornblasters is the best. Thank you!

My prayers have been answered! Thank you HornBlasters!
Let me start with a brief history and short rant to offer background into my needs and the review. I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida (west coast, central). If you’re not familiar, it is one of the most populated counties (Pinellas & Hillsborough) in Florida. In addition, there has been a huge surge of people moving here since COVID. When I moved to the city (suburb) 11 years ago, traffic was light to moderate, accidents were few, and driving through the area wasn’t bad at all. Well, fast-forward 11 years. There is about 20-25% more people, a high percentage of very elderly drivers who shouldn’t even be on the road, a mixture of younger kids who are learning as well as those that don’t pay attention, and a high degree of incompetent drivers who pay 0% attention to others on the road and only worry about themselves while driving. On any given day, I watch people swerving in the lanes and only move once they hit the drunk-bumps, people leaving 8-car gaps, people nearly rear-ending others, along with a myriad of other situations, and the reason – about 80% of the time, they are staring at their phones. I never had road-rage until about 3 years ago when I watch this happen over, and over, and over. My breaking point was a couple months ago when someone hit me head-on. I haven’t had an accident in 21 years nor a traffic ticket in about 15 years. Someone decided to come through an area opposite the flow of traffic. At this point, I’d had enough.Prior to this, I can’t even count anymore how many times I would be at stop lights where the person in front of me is either the first person at the light or cars in front on them were already gone and they are sitting there – that’s right, STARING AT THEIR PHONE! If you’re thinking “well, that happens every now and then”. No, I’m saying 2-3x per week! Yes, it’s a non-stop occurrence, and part of the reason I cannot wait to move out of this area that I truly love. When I travel to my future home (Tennessee), besides the tourist areas (like Orlando), traffic is actually peaceful. Last year, I was at a stop light, about 3 cars back, along with a car next to me. The light changed, both cars that were first at the light just sat there – ON THEIR PHONES. The car next to me hit their horn, which scared the living crap out of me, it was an airhorn. I instantly thought “yes, that is brilliant, and I need one”.When I seen this kit, I had to grab it. Installation was easy as the directions they provide are very clear. The hardest parts are deciding where to install the horns and compressor. They even include the wiring. In my case, I already had 4ga wire from a different installation which I wasn’t using, so I was able to use that. They include a fuse holder and fuses, however, I already had a circuit breaker installed which I used, plenty of length of hose, the relay, and both a toggle and button to choose your method of activation.I went to the beach with no cars around to test the output and the smile I got after hitting the button was like a kid on Christmas. Now, I can’t wait for the next person who is sitting at a green light staring at YouTube or IG, only concerned about themselves. They probably will learn from the example (hot stove=burned fingers). Thank you HornBlasters!!

Crazy Loud
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absolutely amazing horns. Admittedly I was a little afraid of installation since I'd never attempted to install anything like this before but to my chagrin it all went really smooth. The biggest challenge was finding the right spot to mount everything. The instructions made the rest of the process (wiring and plumbing) super easy. The schematic pictorial instructions really couldn't have been crafted any better. As pictured I decided to mount my horn set and compressor together in the same place. This made plumbing the air line direct and simple. Routing the wiring wasn't difficult but kinda time consuming and I used a lot of zip ties. Expect a full day for a clean installation of everything. It's a day well spent because these horns are worthwhile. I settled on installing everything in the bed of my truck which is totally concealed by my fiberglass tonneau cover. You'd think that the tonneau cover would mitigate the sound of these trumpets but there is no noticeable diffusion of the horns, they are loud AF. The particular horn that I got mimics the tone of a train horn and quite well I must say. True... this is great for pranking your friends and loved ones (and I have already done plenty of that, hehe) but my primary use is to clear wildlife and cattle from my path. I live in an open range rural mountainous region where Moose, Bear, Deer, Elk, are frequently hit by drivers (self included). This horn set has been a game changer in terms of wildlife in the road and so much louder than my factory horn which unfortunately sounds like a '67 VW Beetle. Wildlife used to laugh at me, not any more. I am probably going to purchase the remote control because we have Bears that frequent our dumpster and this would scare the tar out of them if I park my truck nearby. As it is now I have to throw firecrackers out the house windows to scare them away but I think they're becoming less afraid of that. Back to installation: As I mentioned the instructions need no improvement and there are also great installation vids out there if that doesn't do it for you. The kit comes with an excess of connectors and wire. Don't be intimidated by this when you open the box (like I was).... you won't be using all of it. They include all of this extra stuff so that the installation can lend itself to different vehicle configurations and you'll have a lot of useful leftovers and extra wire when you're done. Very generous of the manufacturer. I'm not a sticker guy but they do include a small wealth of cool Hornblasters decals (high quality) and some other swag. During installation you have the option to wire it to your car horn on the steering wheel or.... they include a push button giving you the option to activate the horn that way. I opted to install the push button and mounted that button to my dash. I was afraid to mount it to the car horn because I sometimes accidentally hit it when I'm backing up and it would scare the heck out of me if it accidentally went off (essentially pranking myself). The compressor is excellent and has not leaked a breath of compressed air since I installed it. I think it tops out at around 120psi and kicks in at about 100psi. Refill time is fast, maybe a minute or two and I've never run out of air. This thing is reliable and oh SO loud. I'm happy as clam. On the rural roads up here this can be a lifesaver extraordinaire and I'd be lying if I didn't say it's a heck of a lot of fun. Don't be afraid of the installation process. Give yourself a day and you won't regret it. Truly incredible and has far exceeded my expectations. Just WOW!
