Purchased this as it advertised being compatible with our ES model Genesis grill whereas the Weber branded griddle insert is not. I was slightly concerned about the significantly lower cost than the Weber product. I should not have been.Arrived well packaged with all necessary hardware. Assembled quickly and easily. Fit our grill as advertised. While it comes pre seasoned I did end up seasoning it again before our initial cook, as I do with all pre seasoned steel cookware.We have a little over two dozen cooks on it. Very satisfied. Heats evenly. Vents and drains are well designed and make griddle easy to use. Excellent non stick with very simple maintenance: we deglaze with water immediately after each cook and then rub down with a thin layer of peanut or olive oil depending upon which is most handy.Could not be more pleased.

I am thrilled with the Full Size Griddle Insert for my Weber Genesis II 400 Series grill! Just as good as the OEM version. Tailgriller has delivered an outstanding product that fits perfectly and provides good heating across the entire surface. Some surface areas of the griddle can be hotter than others. It's a game-changer for cooking breakfast, burgers, and even stir-fry. The griddle's high-quality construction and non-stick surface make it easy to cook and clean. You MUST season this griddle for optimal performance. Do not let the griddle exceed 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I would recommend purchasing a infrared surface heat thermometer. If you want to elevate your grilling experience, this griddle insert is a must-have!

Fantastic value - perfect fit on my Weber Genesis 435 propane grill. I cleaned and seasoned it as recommended before use. I used canola oil, applying and removing excess oil while running the grill full blast. Griddle is now a deep burnished black work horse. I made fajitas, turned out perfect, easy clean up after. Looking forward to more cooking.

Bought to make smashburgers. Have now made 16 of them. Great tool for the job.Only downside is the handles are garbage. Playing was flaking off them and the rake angle is such that the interfere with the cooking surface. They went right in the trash.

I have a Weber and an offset smoker. I didn't want a third grill on my deck and patio. This was a great substitute, and for significantly less than a Blackstone, or Weber's griddle. It fits perfectly in my grill. The surface was easy to season. I treated it like I treat my cast iron skillets. It seems to heat evenly. I have not used a thermometer on it yet. It holds heat well. I have had it about three weeks and used it about a dozen times or more. I have not had any warping like other commenter's.I did not recieve the handles in my packaging. I left a sellers review because I didn't have any other way to contact them. They emailed me that day, and sent me the handles. Great service.One of the cons to this are the grease drip. Not sure of a better way to do this. It's a trade off for converting a traditional gas grill. The other con is that it is an insert, which makes it have a front rail that is lower than the grill box. This impacts the way I use griddle turners because of the hot front rail.Overall I am very happy with this griddle plate. I am happy with my decision, and may buy on for my Aunts Weber at her beach house.

This is more probably on me but I didn’t season it almost immediately and it got rust on it pretty darn quickly. The product itself is pretty good and does fit well. The instructions leave a lot of room to be desired. Once I take care of the rust and season it I may update my review.

Wanted a black stone griddle but didn’t have the room for another appliance. Then when Weber announced the griddle insert. I was super excited until I saw the price. I’m glad I found this on Amazon. It’s super heavy duty cast iron. Will not warp!!!! The fit is absolutely perfect for my 4 burner. I seasoned it and fried up some eggs and they came perfectly. I cooked some smash burger and the family loved it. I absolutely love it and totally recommend it to anyone who already has a Weber.

This griddle plate is thick and sturdy and fits my Weber grill perfectly. This essentially gives me the best of both worlds, a grill and a griddle! Worth the price!

I have tried so many different types of lancer inserts but this is the best out there. I was a bit nervous buying this product incase it wasn’t up to the job.How is was wrong this is awesome it’s turned my Weber into a smash burger beast.This must be seasoned first before using it will take around 40 mins I used rapeseed oil.This is one of the best products I have ever bought, it’s built like a tank and has totally changed my aging Weber grill.
