Sound Blaster Audigy FX V2 Sound Card

Been using Creative for years, and have loved them from day one. This card worked perfect in a newer style HP slim form desktop with Windows 11. Downloaded the software from Creative and everything worked like it should. The sound is far superior to the sound from the HP motherboard. Volume and EQ controls are great. We are using this in a Church setting to not only put sound into the sanctuary, but to also live stream, and the sound is much better with this card on both accounts.

Works great, just pop it in and your good to go! Very easy.

Okay I have removed my one star and selected 4. Let me Explain. On initial install There was no sound, restored to an earlier restore point, went to creative and downloaded some sort of 3 pack, it also failed said it couldn't find the card. Then reinstalled the creative Audigy FX V2 software and it all works perfectly. I see a lot of complaints on the net not sure if the 3 pack of drivers I downloaded from creative made the software work correctly the second time but once it works its great! Very good sound.

Because of the many problems some folks have had with use of this device with on a Windows 11 computer, I had some serious doubts about using it on mine. However, since I was getting no sound from my machine from the internet, I decided to give it a try. Let me say it worked flawlessly on my 11. It was plug and play.

I had a lot of issues getting this installed on a Win11 computer. I work in IT and this should have been so simple. I had to call support, that's bad. The device also seems to be really susceptible to line noise. What I mean is a laser printer spools up can you can hear the line noise while the printer prints. Same speakers and computer as before, nothing changed except the sound card... This computer setup NEVER had this line noise issue before, now we do. Not impressed with the install and lack of filtering or poor design of the sound card. After the correct driver was loaded and settings in Win11 was set, its works ok.... still getting line noise when printing. Personally, for this Dell computer that needed 5.1 setup, i'd get a different model card. Not impressed.

Plug and play and if I wasn’t almost 80, I’d say my computer’s speakers never sounded better but with ears this old I can’t really tell.

C'est une carte son à installer dans un PC (une tour) pour permettre l'installation d'une stéréo de type 5.1 haut-parleurs, et disposer ainsi du Home-Cinéma. Je peux vous dire que côté son, ça déménage ! Je ne l'ai pas encore installée sur une nouvelle tour que je viens d'acheter dernièrement, donc je n'ai pas encore d'avis positif ou négatif.

J’ai été bluffé par la qualité du son. J’ai acheté cette carte car il me manquait des sorties son pour connecter mes haut parleurs sur mon système Logitech 5.1. Je suis incroyablement surpris par la qualité de la musique qui passe par la sortie de cette carte son. Rien à voir avec la sortie son intégrée à la carte mère du PC. Le son est clair et cristallin et les effets surround sont incroyables. Toutes les options sont facilement paramétrables par l’outil Créative App. Pour résumer, je n’utiliserai plus les sorties son intégrées à la carte mère sur mes futurs PC.
