Table Tops Don't Align
Easy to assemble but the two tops don't align. I like it though. Very sturdy and top quality!

Good!
Delivery was fast. the goods came in non-shipping packaging. This is the only reason why the price was reduced. I recommend

I made the right choice!
I searched long and hard before purchasing this. I read a ton reviews paying a lot of attention to the design and construction of the various competing models, as well as those bigger and smaller. This particular over bed desk fits all of my requirements Perfectly!! It costs a couple of bucks more, but in my opinion, was worth every penny! My first observation was how well it was packed, they put a lot of thought into it. Not one component was marred, scratched or damaged in anyway. I appropriate that! All (both) of the required tools for assembly were included - Nice touch guys, you do not see that in today's self-assembly furniture!! Complete assembly took me about 15 to 20 minutes...Pros:- The height is perfect for my needs! At it's lowest adjustment, it works great in bed. Up a couple of inched is perfect for a small folding desk chair. In about the midway adjustment is perfect for my oversized couch in the living room.- This mobile desk gets the laptop up at a more comfortable level in front of me. I used to work with a tray on my lap, which caused a strain in my neck. After using this desk for two hours I noticed the second major plus; No More Neck Strain!!- The casters (wheels) roll, swivel and/lock, on laminate, carpeting and even across tile flooring effortlessly. I read several reviews on competitors units, regarding the wheels sticking when rolling or swivelling and about twice as many reviewers claiming the wheels do not lock. The casters on this desk unit work great, rolling, swivelling and locking. The wheel locks is super smooth, it actually locks and unlocks so easily I had to double check to make sure the locks were working...- All of the pieces fit together very snugly, although did not require excess force to assemble. The assembled desk feels very secure and the adjustment knobs leave me feel confident about holding my laptop or even a drink over my bed.- The finish is smooth with no sharp edges to bump into while working on it or while moving the desk from room to room.- The flat base design was the key factor in my purchase decision. It's also very strong and ridged, yet functional without adding to the overall weight.Cons:Nothing so far.Other Thoughts:Because of the design of my bed I cannot slide the full length under the bed, which is needed to get my laptop in front of me. I realized this from the beginning and why I really did so much research before buying an over-the-bed desk. I intend to install a shelf on the base to hold my laser printer, hoping that this will provide adequate counter balance, so that I can rotate the desktop 180 degrees, overcoming the shallow base depth of my custom pedestal bed. I've done some testing and all seems to work perfectly!!I have recommend this to friends!Hope this helps.Dave,

Excellent value for what it is
I had ACL surgery and needed a way to do work/eat in bed. Not hard to assemble, comes with an allen wrench. This was perfect for the price and I like the size, not to big or too small. It's not the most beautiful, stable, or quality piece of furniture, but it gets the job done for $60. I only needed it for about two months so i wasn't willing to spend $150+ on real medical side tables. You should know that it wobbles a bit - I put a 12 pound weight on the bottom to stabilize it. Worked like a charm. I am giving it 5 stars anyway because I knew it would be cheap and I bought it anyway. Wood grain looks fake but who cares; this isn't West Elm. My favorite part about this table is that you can adjust the angles for both parts. So for example you can have food on one side with your computer safely angled on the other. Having the computer angled makes it a lot easier to work. If you want a beautiful piece of furniture, this is not it. If you want a cheap way to work from bed (due to injury or laziness) look no further.

A nice handy side table
We use the side table for a laptop over our bed. The design and the size work well with our bedroom. However, the knobs that tighten the table in place sometimes get loose themselves. I got to fix them once in awhile. Other than that, it's a useful product to tidy up the place.
