GAME. CHANGER.
This is singlehandedly my favorite stationery purchase of all time, and as an obsessive pen stickler and someone with strong opinions about the distance between ruled lines, that's saying something. As with many Japanese products, this is incredibly well thought out. The build quality is sturdy and flexible, feeling like it'll flex with life's demands while holding up for a long time through the abuse of day to day. There are 3 places to hold notebooks, allowing for max versatility and capacity. The pocket on the front allows for carrying extra pens and goodies which is really nice when I'm doing my zen set up time with highlighters and tabs and different pens, but I don't keep things in there on the daily as the lumps on the front would impact writing on the left sheet of my planner. The only thing that would make this more perfect is if it had an additional elastic band on the front cover, so I can open the planner up to the current page right away rather than using the ribbon, but that's easily fixed with an aftermarket notebook band. The workflow of a planner/notebook blend is ideal for me. This thing is amazing in meetings. I have my calendars, my week view, my to do list at hand with room and options to flip everything around to have a blank page open on either side of my spiral notebook. That feature is honestly the best thing about all of this. I can also flip the notebook out to use in tandem with the planner or remove it entirely. I've gone through literally hundreds of planners and notebook combinations, zero exaggeration. This combo is absolutely ideal for me and as someone battling ADHD and the dopamine spikes and valleys that come with it, I'm months into this thing and it's still working for me. It feels natural. Those who know that feeling, know what that means. Yes it's just a notebook cover but for those familiar with the struggle of finding something that WORKS in a world not built with you in mind, each piece of that equation matters. I'm ride or die for Kokuyo products, and this one is honestly one of their finest creations.

Best Canvas Tri-Fold A5 Notebook Cover Available
Holds up to THREE softcover A5 notebooks or journals depending on the amount of pages in each. The Kokuyo Edge Title twin ring notebook (B ruled/6mm x 28 lines/50 sheets) is also quality, and if you use it as factory installed, you can easily write on both the left and right pages without taking it out of the notebook cover because the left side "flips" to comfortably expose it. There's a front and back pocket to accommodate pens or whatever you want to tuck in there, a pen loop, a strong elastic to hold it all together, three canvas business/credit card sized pockets, and an elastic pen loop. Regarding the pen loop: the diameter isn't big enough to accommodate a Dr. Grip, or narrow enough to secure an ultra thin gel pen. You'll have to use the pockets for those. It does accommodate any standard size pen with a clip cap beautifully. My Uni-Ball Signo fits perfectly. Wish it came in more colors. Kokuyo is my favorite notebook brand and I love their Campus line; I wish they made dot grid versions (their dot lined notebooks are widely available) and brought back the COLOR+MILK notebooks because the plastic window cover was easily cleaned and added rigidity to the notebook cover similar to their Twin Rings, but obviously without the rings.

Great Notebook!
I've been looking for something to replace my Daytimer now that I use the calendar system on my iPhone. After reading the good reviews on this notebook and reading about its features, I thought I'd give it a shot. Here's what I really like about it: - It's just the right medium size: not too big, but not too small. - It's the right price. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on some leather binder. And the canvas is a great durable material. - It has several pockets for business cards and folded full size papers which is very practical. - It has an elastic band to hold the notebook closed. - It's only about a 1/2 inch thick when closed which makes it real easy to put it in brief cases or backpacks. So, I'm super happy with this product. I just received it so I can't speak to it's durability, but it looks really well made. Based on its features, I can really recommend it.

Professional Quality Notebook Cover System
I had been looking for a leather mini-folio to take to seminars and workshops in the A5 size for some time, but never found one that suited me in the price range that I will to spend. I happened to spot the Kokuyou Notebook on a blog review and became intrigued even though it is made of canvas. The Notebook system is lightweight, but filled with useful pockets. Inside are plastic "wings" that hold in notebooks. You have a choice of using either a bound book or a pad, their are slots on both sides for either use. Currently, I have an A5 Moleskine Cashier and a Rhodia pad in the slots. The flap on the right flips open to a final level where flat pockets are designed to hold business cards and other small loose papers. I am keeping my contact cards and mini-flyers that promote my novel to hand out during events in these useful pockets. A sturdy pen loop holds my favorite Retro 51 Tornado rollerball and even my fountain pens off to the side and an elastic band keeps everything together. There are also two ribbons to act as bookmarkers. I miss the leather, but I have to admit that this notebook system has proven to be far more useful to me and is like a feather in my bag. The price is right too. I'm glad that I made the purchase and hope to continue using the notebook for years to come.

Excellent product. Very handy. Keep me organised instead of scraps of paper lying everywhere.

Does exactly the job I got it for. Looks great, feels great in hand, save my notebooks from whatever is happening outside. I've had it for a few weeks but the build quality seems excellent.

I was a little afraid of getting a product shipping all the way from Japan, but I was positively surprised to get it in time and by the quality of it. Exactly as I imagined it. I'm using it everyday since May to hold different kinds of notebooks not just the one it came in with it also have a lot of useful pockets. I can also fit my iPad Air2 in it along with the notebook, secure everything with the elastic band and I have a nice bundle, ready to go. Very nice cover to have, my wife wants one too, now. I'll probably edit my review later on in the future to comment about durability, but so far so good.
