Super-Fast Charger!
I was pleasantly surprised that when plugging my Huawei P40 into this, it went into "SuperFast" Charge mode, not merely "Fast", This wasn't affected by plugging another device into charge at the same time. I've reviewed a number of car chargers, but this is the first to achieve this. The charger is a fairly hefty piece of kit. It's hinged in the middle so you can angle the top bit at up to almost 90 degrees from the angle of your car cigarette lighter socket. Part of the reason for the size is the fact it contains two extendable USB-C leads that smoothly retract when not required. There is also an additional USB-C socket and a USB-A socket for older devices. The built-in leads are approximately 1m long. From the device location behind my gear stick, I can comfortably stretch a lead across the top of the steering wheel and into my phone which is mounted to the RH front air vent.At around £20 it's quite pricey, but with built-in overcharge, overcurrent, overvoltage, temperature control and short-circuit protection, I guess you get what you pay for. It's definitely a premium charger and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
