Give it a lot of time to cure.
It is slimy. I used it to waterproof a concrete bird bath. I used two coats. I recommend letting it cure at least a week in warm weather before filling it with water. If you wait longer than what you think it should take to cure, it works great! I have a birdbath heater/fountain and the birdbath is completely sealed and waterproof.

Pet stained subfloor
I actually used this to seal my subfloors after attempting to neutralize pet stains. The stains were the worst! This product is amazing, easy to use, very easy to clean up. Would use 10 out of 10 for any vertical waterproofing.

Take your time prime well
This is great stuff. I have repainted my stock tank pool with it works great. One thing to note is that this is not like regular paint more of a consistency of runny snott. But does a great job water proofing over a primer also the white takes usniversal pigment really well. I added blue to it so i would have a light blue inside to my stock take pool.

I've used Ames block and wall in my basement 4 years ago seems to work good with 4coats.
I used the White version Ames block and wall in my basement four years ago it seems to be holding up pretty decent. This Blue version I used on some wood behind the gutter it did not hold up very well.

QUALITY UNMATCHED
You are not going to believe how I used this product. I build a whole water tank just with the product. No mortar used. Nice and thick but no pasty. Application easy I used ketchup bottles to spread. I used 2 of them on a cabin roof and painted over for water proofing. If you are DIY. You need this. This is my 8 bucket order.
