Prevents early fading of darks and cleans well.
Very pleased with this product. My three year old jeans are still just about as dark as when I bought them. I wash them inside out and in cold water. I wear a lot of darker colors and have been able to keep things looking newer longer. I was initially concerned about the cleaning power of this product, but so far, so good.

I own a lot of dark blue and black clothing. I wash it in the all the time. Works great and my clothes do not fade.

Keeps darks from fading
This is my main soap to use for all darks and delicates. It keeps my black lounge yoga pants dark and not fade fast. I don't notice any smell nor soap feel from the clothes. Amazon puts out good price promotions.

If you love your dark clothes, love them enough to wash them in Woolite Dark.
I've been using Woolite Dark detergent for 20+ years. Seriously, 20+ years. It costs a little more, but you know what else costs more? Having to replace your favorite dark clothes because the detergent you use that's not specially formulated for dark clothes fades them to duller shades. If you have dark clothes that you love, you need to take special care of them. I like black pants, and I will only wash them in Woolite Dark, because it preserves the color. When you wash your favorite pair of black pants in Woolite Dark, they're not gonna fade and become that dull pair of dark gray pants that are just meh. They stay black. Even with years of washing. I do always wash my dark clothes in cold water, and dry on low heat, but I believe they stay dark because of the Woolite Dark. When I travel, and will need to do laundry before I come back home, I will bring Woolite Dark with me so I have what I need to take care of my dark clothes while I'm away.
