My dentist recommended this tooth paste and gave me a sample to try out. I really liked the toothpaste, I feel like it provides a really deep clean, however, I do walk away with a feeling of not being "fresh". To combat that, I actually do a mixture of 80% this toothpaste and 20% of some other toothpaste I have that's strong and minty to get the overall deep clean and fresh feel. I am 29 and use this toothpaste and I even recommended / shared a bottle of it with my dad who is 67 and he says he likes it too. I would say the taste of this toothpaste is very neutral, little to no flavor.
