Surprisingly good control solution for iOS!
I’ve only had this for about two weeks, so I can’t speak to its durability. However, as far as performance is concerned, this thing has been just about perfect. I’ve used it for all of the various Rockstar games and was honestly surprised at the precision you can achieve with the tiny thumbsticks. As many other reviews have mentioned, the buttons do require you to press down with a small amount of force (enough to turn the tip of your thumb white), but I got used to this pretty darn fast. Just press the buttons and triggers like you mean it, and the games will respond every time. This includes the d-pad, which admittedly is pretty tough to move around, but it’s fine for using in menus and such, and I just use the thumbstick for everything else.Once attached to my iPhone 7+, I was happy to find that the unit does not weigh much (although some might complain about the plasticky feel), is easy to hold and use for long periods of time, and make a HUMUNGOUS difference in control versus the touchscreen. This specifically refers to action games of course, as touchscreen is already perfect for turn based games, etc. But to put this in perspective, I finally beat the racing missions in GTA: San Andreas, whereas I could never get the touchscreen to respond fast enough before. I have also had a lot of success with platformers, first person shooters, and even have been streaming emulators off my PC using the app KinoConsole. It’s performed well in each case.Aside from the stiff buttons/d-pad, the other major complaint I’ve heard about the GameVice is that the lightning plug on the right-hand side is fragile and can break, causing it to disconnect randomly with the phone. I have been very careful with it because of this, and so far so good. I don’t really expect to have any problems with it.I have been really impressed by this controller, and frankly I can’t really understand why the reviews are so low. As long as you remember to push the buttons harder than usual, I highly recommend the Game Vice for anyone who plays games on iOS but struggles with touchscreen controls for action games.

IT WORKS FOR FORTNITE, AND NOT CALL OF DUTY
I LIKE THAT THE PRODUCT WORKS AND ALL. PROBLEM IS THAT THE I PAID 60 DOLLARS FOR IT WHEN IT CLAIMED IT WAS ON "SPECIAL" YET THE VERY NEXT DAY THE SAME FREAKING PRODUCT WAS FOR LIKE 25 DOLLARS OR SO.

Fits too snug, will not accommodate a screen protector.
Does not accommodate a screen protector. Phone will not fit if a screen protector has been applied, and the glass will likely crack if attempted.

No R3, L3, or select buttons
This is a review of the 2018 model for iPhones.I use this with my iPhone 6s+ to play games from my PC via the Moonlight app/Nvidia Gamestream.Pros:-great build quality: if a DS4 controller and XboxOne controller are around “10/10” for build quality, this is definitely an 8 or 9. Most key buttons and sticks feel solid, but with a little room for improvement. The case is sturdy and my phone fits very securely.-plug and play: no 3rd party software needed. Though they do apparently have a free game library app that I have not tried-does not noticeably suck up battery-charging plug pass-through means I can charge and play indefinitelyNeutral:-the shoulder buttons don’t register very well if you click on their outer edges; click great towards the center. This will come down to personal preferenceCons:-No R3, L3, or select buttons. This REALLY puts a hamper on a LOT of games. Even if the thumb sticks couldn’t click to support these buttons, I feel like there is plenty of space to put them on the back of the device or somewhere else on the faceplate (like where the + and - buttons are on the Nintendo Switch). Hopefully future revisions will include these buttons. If so, I would buy another in a heartbeat, rate 5 stars, and recommend this product to everyone I know who plays games on a phone.-the D-pad is pretty bad. I can only get it to register button presses about 50% of the time.-iPhone speaker placement means sound quality through iPhone speakers is muffled and blocked by this case. Would be cool to see some sort of speaker built into a future revision for people that want better sound quality without using earphones.

This game pad works great
I love this phone controller it worked perfectly on my iPhone 6s Plus. It can also adjust to different size phones. And it can fold up for easy storage. My only gripe is that the analog sticks don’t click in.

Wonderful design, except the controller part of the controller.
Don't listen to any of the other one-star reviews. This controller's design is amazing. At first, I thought it was the perfect controller for me.Yes, you can't really use it with a case or even a screen protector; it's designed to fit the iPhone's thickness perfectly. Thankfully, I have a case that I can pop off easily, and you don't need a screen protector with a modern iPhone. The reason they do it this way instead of a clamp, is because of the brilliant design in which the device plugs into your iPhone and powers off of it. You will never need to charge it.Or, you would never need to charge it, if you actually used it as opposed to returning in shortly after you try it.So what's wrong with it?The buttons don't work.No Seriously, the buttons. Don't. Work.More specifically, it takes an unusual amount of pressure to have the controller register a button press. Feeling around, it's as if the button only registers if a specific point in the center of the button is pressed. Any deviation from that center, and you don't get anything. What's a controller, but an arranged collection of buttons designed to give you a tactile experience? What do you call a controller in which the buttons don't work? A piece of junk, that's what.
