Is this salt powdered like at the movie theater as opposed to grainy?

It is exactly like the movie theater salt. More powdered than grainy. I am VERY finicky about ultra fine salt aka french fry/popcorn salt. While pricier than other brands, it’s the best!

Does this container have a shaker top opening on it?

No, I bought a large shaker from Walmart for $3.11. Google "large salt shaker". It's a 10 oz with a shaker top and a handle.
