I live in a small apartment with a nice shared balcony space and needed a potting table, storage cabinet, and a table to hold my small tabletop grill and burner during summer. This is the perfect size for my balcony, is somewhat easy to assemble, very sturdy when it's finished, the wood smells pleasant and fragrant, and the metal top is easy to clean. I did encounter some minor issues during the build but not enough to detract from a 5 star rating:1)the diagrams in the manual aren't always clear so use the Amazon images when confused2)not many holes are pre-drilled so some sections tried to crack until i pre-drilled the holes and used wood glue (admittedly, i might have initially used the wrong drill speed)3)the cabinet latch has very sharp edges4) the large cabinet should have an additional shelf option

This potting bench is the deal of the century!! It was so simple to put together (and I am a 71 year old granny.) They gave extra screws and bolts which is seldom heard of with other DIY furniture. As with others, there is no written instructions, just pictures. Just study the lay out and direction of each piece and you'll do fine. I finished in an hour. I love the gray stain, it looks so nice and gives it enough class to use it for food service by the barbeque or even inside the house. All my neighbors want to get one, too!

This potting bench is exactly as pictured/described & looks so cute on my back porch! It is sturdy & was easy to assemble, just pay close attention to where pilot holes are, to assure proper assembly. My only complaint is the top had a deep dent, where something punctured the box during shipping. This is easily preventable by facing the top inward or adding a piece of styrofoam during packaging. Overall I am very happy with this potting bench!

This is a fabulous potting bench! It is quite heavy and very sturdy. I especially like the stainless steel top, the drawer and the cubby with a latched door. It was easy to put together - the instructions were clear, all the parts were there, parts were accurately labeled and they fit together nicely. Using a power drill was very helpful and saved time. I look forward to using this item!

Love love this. This is my second one. My first one is still fine other than the metal top has rusted now & pieces are coming off & they are sharp. Don't want to cut myself. Very easy to put together. Good instructions. Lightweight but good quality. My other one is like 5yrs old if not older.

Absolutely beautiful. Easy to assemble

This table was just what I was looking for. It was in my price range and fit well on my back patio. Quick disclaimer: I love assembling furniture and don’t get easily frustrated, even if I make a mistake or the instructions aren’t great. These instructions could’ve had slightly better graphics or pointed out nuances with notes, but if you take your time you shouldn’t have too much of an issue. It came together really smoothly. The pre-drilled holes lined up and I was able to avoid splitting the wood by going slow and reversing when needed. They did include extra hardware, so don’t fret if you end up with extra screws. One negative: this is VERY soft wood—I had no issue picking it up at all. You can see in my photos that I stained (semi-transparent) the wood within the first 2-3 days that I set it outside. I still plan on going back and adding an extra coat to cover the thin spots. I worry that going forward, accidental dings and weather may deteriorate this piece, but like I said—I needed outdoor storage and this was in my price range. I hope this review helps you decide if it’s a good buy for you!

The bench is fine and surprisingly sturdy but perhaps a little on the small side. The bench was easy to put together in about 30-45 minutes even though some of the instructions were incorrect. My only issue was it was missing one of the wooden slats and the hook plate. Luckily i had a piece of cedar and cut it to size. The hook plate I wouldn't have used anyway. Overall, I would recommend this little for someone who potting projects aren't too large because the work surface is not huge. The draw slides in and out without effort and the cabinet door lines up well.
