This unit is AMAZING. Slightly heavy, but a monster in functionality.

The EGO Power+ Hedge Trimmer Attachment isn’t so much a garden tool as it is a statement of intent. You don’t just tidy your hedges with this thing—you assert dominance over the entire shrub kingdom. From the moment you attach it, you can feel the quiet confidence humming through the handle, whispering, “Branches? Mere mortals.” And then, with a gentle squeeze of the trigger—whoosh. Limbs fall, leaves scatter, and somewhere, a lesser hedge trimmer weeps in envy. This machine doesn’t trim; it annihilates with precision. Branches up to an inch thick don’t stand a chance. It’s like slicing warm butter with a laser made of smug satisfaction. Five stars for turning me into a suburban samurai. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a gardener in a high-budget action movie, this is your moment.

This EGO attachment is great for large hedges and bushes. The articulating head makes getting to bushes on hillsides and tall hedges much easier. It cuts larger diameter pieces than my other general hedge clippers. The strap helps balance the tool as it is pretty long but the pole being carbon fiber makes it lighter. I am a 64 year old grandmother and really like this tool for getting my yard work done more efficiently.

The hedge trimmer attachment works great, with an adjustable blade angle. I use it to maintain a 7 ft high hedge, so I can top the hedge without getting on a ladder. The down side is that this tool is fairly heavy, so it will give you a real workout. Overall, it is high quality but tires me out quickly. It is very comparable in function and weight to my old Stihl hedge trimmer. Battery life is great, and the tool is well balanced.

Works great for those hard to reach places. If you are cutting larger branches get a hand held trimmer instead

Another amazing EGO power tool I’ve added to my EGO collection. This one is a true beauty. Allows you to trim VERY HIGH hedges in an expert fashion. I do find it to be a bit heavy. Wore the shoulder harness and had to take several breaks, but it’s worth it!

Works well to prune back small branches on trees, shrubs. Also works well to cut down beds of irises and day lilies in the fall. Very versatile positioning of blades.My only complaint would be the weight of this tool, heavy for working over head. Also no clear way to add grease to the bearings.
