They are a good company
As a professional, I have installed over 13 of these. They can be difficult to navigate for a beginner.The most important thing is Setting each fitting correctly.Next the pilot light has a flame adjustment- small screw that will help with excess noise.Upon setting up the remote. Set the toggle on the box to REMOTE, then push and hold the learn button(reset button) with a paper clip, Last push the ON/ High button on the remote and it should beep and light.IMPORTANT: You have to do this last step every time the batteries die.This is a good product and it has lasted for years in the homes I have put them in.

Disappointed
Works, but had a couple hardware problems. The screws to attach heat shield are the wrong size. Also, the threads on the thermocouple were too small so it easily wiggles out.

Decent price.
The media could not be loaded. The manufacturer is "Bluegrass Living". The inlets and outlets are 3/8 NPT, but the instructions seem to indicate to use 1/2 piping. I had to bend the electrode a bit toward for it to get a proper arc for igniting the pilot. After adding lava rocks most everything other than the control knob and igniter is hidden.The main downside is as you can see in the video the flames seem to be too big and go into the chimney flue a bit (safety concern) and there doesnt seem to be a gas regulator on this valve. I believe I need some kind of orifice or gas regulator to reduce the flame.
